Madara just flaring up his Susano'o Aura, without even forming the bare minimum of a Ribcage, can completely negate a rage amped KCM2 Naruto tossing the Anti-Bijū stakes that he was struggling to remove from Gyūki before at him. I'd like for this to be mentioned in his durability justification...

Eh I don't know if that's really saying he's the strongest character, just moreso that if he's used effectively, he can be the best tool for the army. Like how Mind Transfer isn't that powerful on its own, but can be incredible when used in conjunction with Shadow Possession.
 
I might as well also do this before I get into boruto.and kinda talk about my thoughts on the series

I like Naruto quite a bit, I like its world it’s characters, it’s themes, how it explores it themes and etc. the cycle of hate is easily the best aspect of the series and how multiple characters create there own solution for world peace and how they came to that conclusion(not you kayguya). And I really like the series power system(even if hand signs kind of became less relevant). And it as some top tier fights as well like hiruzen vs Orochimaru, pain vs naruto, jiraya vs pain,rock lee vs garaa and etc.

But the series also has problems. It’s two biggest one for me personally are its lack of world building and underutilized characters. In terms of world building 99% of the time stuff is mostly forced on the leaf. We rarely get to see other villages and learn there history. Like the village hidden in the mist went from the blood mist village to the chill mist village under the 5th mizukage. And the 4th mizukage(apparently the guy that’s the reason for the mist having the title of “blood mist”) is a perfect jinjurchai. That already has so much story potential but we just never get to see it. This also brings me into my second complaint of underutilized characters. Most of the 11 leaf ninja barley do anything before the war and even then there still pretty minor with the exception of ino-shiki-cho. And the jinchuriki are easily the most wasted characters in the entire show. Kishimoto crafted three of the best characters in the show(Naruto, bee and garaa)who all faced similar challenges due to there jinchuriki status and they all dealt with it in different and inter ways your telling me I can’t get more of that? Don’t even get me started on the tailed beast.

As I said before I like naruto, it’s a good series with a good message but it’s got some problems that hold it back for me(still better the bleach though)

I understand this complaint but I don't really agree with it. Of course if you love a series you're gonna want more of it, but for the sake of pacing it's just not reasonable to expect every aspect of a world to be explored especially when they're not central to the story being told. A world aids a story, not the other way around.

True but like there’s just some things I think needed to be explored or shown. Like the tsukage using the akatsuki or the cloud village gaining more justu or what the heck the waterfall village was doing since that’s like the only small nation to ever have a biju(you’d think it be brought a bit more). Idk that’s just me

Disagree heavily tbh, the world is expanded upon so little that almost half of the Kage, who are meant to be some of the greatest and most powerful Shinobi in history, have basically no story to them other than "Was really strong, then died."

The Hidden Mist and Stone have basically nothing going on in terms of story, and for all we know, Rock Lee can reproduce asexually.

I feel like that sort of stuff which is interesting but kinda irrelevant to the plot is fine left for the imagination or supplementary material like databooks/novels

With a world as massive as Naruto, there's always gonna be gaps, but there absolutely is already a lot of worldbuilding. The history and world feels living and breathing, with many conflicts and characters and jutsu. What would exploring even more people just because they're strong really add to the events happening or the themes? It feels like something that would just exist to appease fans and have more material to add to wikis rather than enrich the series.

Yeah, and the pacing is better off for it. At least for the first two, I can agree that Metal's mother not being known is a bit much.

This is one of the things where the anime actually explained it(although there was also a Hidden Waterfall novel, so idk what's up with that). There, they said it was because they kept popping out skilled Jonin and also had this big tree that gave them this cancer water that gave a temporary 10x chakra amp.

Although, come to think of it, Kakuzu was from there, so we know they had some heavy hitters.

I agree that there's not a need for a massive amount of world building, but I feel like a more consistent focus on the characters besides Team 7 developing down their own path would be a massive improvement. We have some good stuff with Ino-Shika-Cho, and I for sure want more of that, but even they have some serious unexplained stuff. Like, why are Choji and Karui together? What is Karui's personality outside of being angry?

And who even is Shino or Kiba or Tenten? And if Sakura is so anti-orphan, why does she not have parents?

I can understand that more, although I do think a lot of the Konoha 11 were given good stories

TBF with Sakura that's a comment she made as a 12 year old that didn't know any better, everyone says stupid shit at that age and she changed her mind when she was scolded.

And she has parents, just that they're never shown.

Just because it's a great story potential doesn't mean it'll be relevant to to the plot
Take a look at Minato's one shot
Cool story but doesn't affect the main story in any significant way
Same will be the case of a hypothetical prime hiruzen manga
Or a showing of Gaara's father as a flashback story

Seeing how the world works and seeing the cause of conflict in the current era definitely would not be irrelevant to the story. The fact that the village hidden in the mist went through such a big change and it’s just brushed off is so odd. Especially when it lines up with breaking the cycle of hatred.

Uh, showing Gaara's father in a flashback was highly relevant to the plot.
 
For everyone who thinks Konoha 11 wasn’t fleshed out or needed more in Shippuden than they got in Part 1, why don’t you guys acknowledge the vast majority of other new characters that got introduce and fleshed out? I mean, honestly, if you wanted to see more of the entirety of Konoha 11, who do you minimize in Shippuden without implying the series should’ve been longer than 700 Chapters?
