Not sure where the rough calculation that got 100 Teratons is based on; nuking all of the United States or China both seem like things that would get the range via air blast radius but could use half diameter of the respective countries to calculate them.

Last time I checked, correct or not, 100 Teratons is the oft-cited value for the Chicxulub Impact, no?
