    It appears that mages are able to detect when another mage is hiding their mana via the mana's instability. Demons in particular are so sensitive to mana that, unless one possesses a natural talent for it, one cannot fool them even if they train their mana restraining skill for a century or two

    Honestly, given Futaba’s Attack Reflection and the fact that her aiki is capable of working even against lava, I feel like she just reflect all of Genos’s ranged attacks and trap him within one of her Aiki Ball which would incap given the Lifting Strength difference
