Its ability to generate infinite energy is considered hyperbole? The infinite energy it's stated to be able to share with a touch & it's been shown sharing? Which makes the being's body "overflowing with power"? That kind of energy doesn't apply to its AP?
And that energy can't be applied to AP for a Fire-type? Isn't heat energy?
It's even stated that:

Android 18 has infinite energy, but that only refers to her stamina.

Victini has been shown sharing that infinite energy to amplify Tepig & Scraggy's offense power considerably in the movie. It's also done so in the manga.
So I really doubt its "infinite energy" is something that only applies to its stamina. Even without it sharing that energy making the receiving being's body "overflowing with power"? That doesn't sound like stamina-related energy granting to me.
