Concerning Observation Haki...

So I was just on a discussion on Facebook and I got debating whether or not Observation Haki would be capable of detecting the invisible Shinigami from Bleach. I am not deciding who would win in a fight, but can Haki help locate a Shinigami?

Usopp's first use of Observation Haki.


Usopp's first attempt at using Observation Haki allowed him to perfectly identify and locate Luffy and Law who were miles away and atop an large mountain, far from Usopp's eyesight. Keep in mind, this was Usopp's first time using Observation Haki, compare that with Luffy who trained for 2 years with a master Haki user to perfect his own Haki.

Shinigami are within the physical realm, they only remain remain invisible to normal people.

So what I'm basically asking is...

one piece characters can see persona's ghosts. devil fruits take on the full properties and nature of their power. and then theirs the incident with lao G's ghost when he died for a brief moment. what's your points on this?

That's within the context of their verse, hence why ghosts or viewable by people in the One Piece verse. With Ichigo and characters from other verses, it's a different story. Shinigami are invisible to human eyes, which is a rule that must be followed into other verses when being discussed about, and that includes regular people in the One Piece verse.

I am asking if Observation Haki would allow an individual from One Piece to locate and visualise an invisible Shinigami.

well. they're present and observation haki does sense presences and aura. not like they're present in a different dimension on some madara limbo type shit. wasn't it said that those who experience near death situations can see Shinigami? or just hollow attacks?

Don't know. It's been a while since I saw Bleach, but all I remember was that Shinigami are invisible to the human eye.
