Well due to her Shield and Dura in general Noct's only way of winning is through his summons and magic, more notably death and Alterna to bypass her barrier and should be capable of seeing Orihime's attacks due to being able to see the souls of the past kings when they aren't taking a physical or visible form, even then he has equipment that'd allow him to dodge automatically anyway.

He also has a free revive with Carbuncle's Ruby Light if he is hit

He isn't as haxxed as other Final Fantasy protagonists, but he still has Teleportation with warp strike and Telekinesis for his weapons, Magic, Intangibility with dodges, BFR with Alterna, Stat amps and reduction with several weapons, gravity manipulation, energy projection, Stealth, Swordsmanship mastery to an insane degree, as well as flight and weapon summoning with the Ring of Lucii, which he has in this match, on top of being able to call upon Final Fantasy summons at will like every other protagonist

meanwhile Orihime's advantages are her higher AP and dura, extrasensory perception allowing her to pinpoint where other people with souls are, or people without souls, nigh-invincible shields, and invisible soul attacks

It’s not. It’s a stomp that she can’t get around because of auto dodge. She is pretty simple in terms of abilities so it isn’t a surprise. Other dudes in the tourney had stuff like precog, aoe etc to get around it while she doesn’t.
