Huge Pokemon CRT 2.5 (TMs)

Remove on the TM/Move Tutor lock
Pokemon can learn moves from TMs and Move Tutors in nature or without the aid of the TMs. This is likely the exact same with TRs.
Examples
“Ash first met Gible in A Meteoric Rise to Excellence!. Wilma explained that Gible was trying his best to learn the move Draco Meteor”

So what does this add and to who? Quick answer: yes
Long answer: we will be here for a bit (final evolution will be used for simplicity, with the notable exception being Magikarp or if the ™ came from an earlier Gen)

Energy Projection: Draco Meteor: Everyone dragon type
Draco Meteor has shown to create energy based attacks on, multiple occasions. And able to be taught to every dragon pokemon
“Various Move Tutors will teach Draco Meteor to a Dragon-type Pokémon. From Generation IV to VII...”

Limited Duplication: Substitute: Every Pokemon except:
Magikarp, Ditto, Unown, and wobbuffet
Creates a copy of the pokemon which can only be used as a damage sponge and a shield for abilities

Healing: Rest: Every Pokemon except
Magikarp, Ditto, wobbuffet, Unown, Tapus, and Komala
Recovers all damage taken but makes them fall asleep

Limited empathic manipulation: Attract: Every Pokemon except
Magikarp, Ditto, Wobbuffet, Unown, and most genderless pokemon
If the opponent is the opposite gender of the user they will fall in love with the user and obey all of their orders.

Forcefield Creation: Protect: every pokemon except
Magikarp, Ditto, Unown, and wobbuffet
User creates a forcefield in front of them or surrounding them which blocks a single attack. It can be used multiple times but the likelihood of it working goes down

Dream Manipulation and likely durability negation: Dream Eater: able to be learned by
Butterfree, Clefable, Ninetales, Wigglytuff, Venomoth, Persian, Alakazam, Slowbro, Exeguttor, Alolan Marowak, Lickitung, Chansey, Starmie, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Lapras, Porygon-Z, Mewtwo, Mew, Togepi lines, Xatu, Slowking, Honchkrow, Espeon, Umbreon, Girafarig, Mismagius, Dunsparce, Houndoom, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Gardevoir, Shedinja, Sableye, Medicham, Swalot, Grumpig, Spinda, Altaria, Lunatone, Solrock, Claydol, Banette, Duskclops, Absol, Chimecho, Latias, Latios, Jirachi, Deoxys, Wormadam, Drifblim, Bronzong, Spiritomb, Weavile, Togekiss, Yamega, Froslass, Rotom, Lake trio, Giratina, Arceus, Watchdog, Liepard, Audino, Leavanny, Whimsicott, Lilligant, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus, Jellicent, Chandelure, Vivillon, Aromatisse, Slurpuff, Aurorus, Trevenant, Gourgiest, Noivern, Yveltal, Hoopa, Ribombee, Shinotic, and Mimikyu
Able to control the dreams of those affected and attacks in the dreams so should ignore conventional durability but the opponent needs to be asleep for this to work

Dream Manipulation and durability negation: Nightmare: able to be learned by
Butterfree, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Persian, Alakzam, Slowbro, Gengar, Hypno, Exeggutor, Starmie, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Lapras, Lickitung, Porygon 2, Mewtwo, Mew, Noctowl, Xatu, Aipom, Espeon, Umbreon, Murkrow, Slowking, Misdreavus, Girafarig, Dunsparce, Sneasel, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Gardevoir, Shedinja, Sableye, Roselia, Swalot, Spinda, Banette, Dusclops, Chimecho, Absol, Jirachi, Deoxys
Those attacked will be hit with a nightmare which take ¼ of their max health. But needs to be asleep for this to work.

Teleportation: Teleport: able to be learned by
Butterfree, Alolan Raichu, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Venomoth, Arcanine, Slowbro, Magnezone, Cloyster, Hypno, Electrode, Executor, Blissey, Starmie, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar, and Porygon.
Allows the user to teleport

Cloning: Double Team: Able to learned by every pokemon except
Magikarp, Unown, Wobbuffet, Tapu bulu, Stakataka, and most gen 8 pokemon (minus Sobble and Dreepy)
User creates clones of itself with the only downside being them breaking after being hit.

Poison Manipulation and durability negation: Toxic: Able to be learned by most pokemon except
Magikarp, Ditto, Unown, Wobbuffet, Magearna, and Gen 8 pokemon (minus Toxtricity and Eternatus)
User fires poison at the opponent which inflicts badly poisoned debuff which does 1/16 max health increasing by 1/16 by every attack (ex:2/16, 3/16….)

Limited Law Manipulation: Trick Room: able to be learned by
Alakazam, Galarian Rapidash, Slowbro, Gengar, Hypno,Exeggutor, Starmie, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Porygon-Z, Mewtwo, Mew, Xatu, Espeon, Slowking, Mismagius, Girafarig, Celebi, Gardevoir, Grumpig, Spinda, Lunatone, Solrock, Claydol, Kecleon, Banette, Chimecho, Jirachi, Deoxys, Bronzong, Gallade, Dusknoir, Lake Trio, Dialgia, Palkia, Cresselia, Arceus, Victini, Musharna, Swoobat, Audino, Whimsicott, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus, Gothitelle, Jellicent, Beheeyem, Chandelure, Meloetta, Delphox, Meowstic, Aromatisse, Malamar, Carbink, Trevenant, Gourgeist, Diancie, Comfey, Mimikyu, Bruxish, Solgaleo, Lunala, Nihilego, Necrozma, Magearna, Stakataka, Orbeetle, Hatterene, Mr. Rime, Runerigus, Indeedee, and Calyrex.
It creates a box that makes the slower of the two become the faster of the two and speed boosting moves decrease the speed under these effects

Weather Manip (arguable durability negation with hail and sand): Sandstorm, Rain Dance, Sunny day, Hail: able to be learn by (give me like 1 hour)

Rage Boost: Rage: Able to be learned by
All gen 1 pokemon (minus Magikarp and ditto)
Everytime the user is attacked it increases the users attack (Charmander’s tail increases in size the more they were attacked)

This got bigger than expected so I had to split the CRT
Some of the general changes that where agreed on was Roar being fear inducement and double team being after image creation

I already agreed to this in the former thread, so im agreeing here again.

Tutor moves im neutral on since the anime seems to still acknowledge that as a thing to an extent. But the TM limitation should just be considered game mechanics.

Before some Pokèmon knowing tutor moves for seemingly no reason in the anime is brought up, I'd like to give a reminder that the anime does sometimes **** up the movesets and even gives moves to Pokèmon that cannot use them in any way in the games.

I agree with this. There's also Pokemon Mystery Dungeon where normal Pokemon can buy and use TM's, and the Gulpin Shop teaches Tutor Moves (unless PMD has been declared non-canon which would be weird (at least to me), but I've heard that's a thing).

Would this include Event Moves as well?

Then those moves should be put on their profiles.

Maybe they should, but those are totally mistakes from the anime's writers, so we need more than a few Pokèmon using tutor moves unassisted in the anime to add ALL tutor moves they can learn to the profiles

yeah not even going to touch the canon thing. My reasoning for tutoring in general mostly boils down to it being similiar in methods to TMs since they funtionally do the same thing in game and in the anime. Of being a way to teach pokemon new moves via a disk which teaches the move vs training to teach the move. But one of the main reasons is draco meteor.
Since multiple pokemon can learn this move without a tutor along with all dragon types having the potential to learn the move.
With the gible stated above, Rayquaza, and apparently another gible but nothing else other than it happened from a wild gible on Bulbapedia

I'm generally neutral but tend to agree with the TM lock being removed, but I'm a bit dubious on the tutor moves, or at least some of them fort certain Pokemon.
Anyway, as said in the other thread, Double Team is afterimage creation, not duplication.

As far as I'm aware, only the anime considers the TM move lock to be non-existent, going against Poke Adv and other media.

Do you have any more examples from other media?

I believe the shuckle example came from pokemon adventures. Other medium are hard to go through since in pokemon mystery dungeon any pokemon can use a TM at free will. And in the games random trainers can have TMs and have wild pokemon usually not learn them for people not to get over powered early game, Imagine a charmandar with hyper voice early game

Edit: I do believe that TMs do exist in the anime though as seen here

As I said, there's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon where the Pokemon can learn Tutor Moves from the Gulpin Link Shop. They could be considered "optional equipment" for Pokemon if this is considered.

Also, what's everyone's opinion on Event Moves for Pokemon?

But those are the exception, we shouldn't assume all event moves are canon by default.

I'd include them as optional if we're being generous, only the anime really treats TM moves as something any pokemon can learn. All the other media, including the games and Adv manga, disagree. The only exception as Half Shiny pointed out, is that the Shuckle in Adv know Toxic, though then again Shuckle doesn't learn it via TM but by breeding.

But the profiles are composite

Saying the quiet part out loud?

This is one of the issues of having composites, should the anime supersede every other canon or vice versa?

Honestly that is fair. Maybe just list the abilities as possible x ability. Also breeding leads to loop holes which every pokemon can learn the TMs so I don't think that can be argued there.

So is this accepted yet? Since profiles are composite, then why not add it?

And why not just add new tabbers like "with TMs, breeding moves etc"? Like that isn't a bad idea at all
