Old King Thor

Because dialogue after the battle suggests that the Phoenix Force was not operating at its full power and was going easy on Old King Thor. Additionally, Old King Thor lost a battle to a Moderately Fed Galactus, who is ranked as 2-C. Even if the Phoenix Force was going all out, it would be classified as an outlier.

Wolverine was full out trying to kill Thor but the phoenix force didn't allowed him to kill Thor.

King Thor machted the best hits from old phoenix. So why not 2-A ? Even, Odin and Galactus have 2-A feats.
 
No, neither Odi nor Moderately Fed Galactus have consistent 2-A feats. It makes much more sense to assume that the line about the Phoenix Force not allowing Wolverine to kill Old King Thor was used to handwave the fight despite their differing power levels.
 
2-A Odin is something we already deemed outlier.

Galactus is 2-A when he's Well Fed but he was only Moderately Fed here, meaning he's only 2-C. By your logic, we'd have to upgrade Moderately Fed Galactus to 2-A because he outright defeated Thor, who then needed to amp himself with the Necrosword to win.

Phoenix Force Avatars are 2-A. So logically, Thor (whose best showing is 2-C) had no chance of beating him in straight up fight. Then we learn that the Phoenix Force doesn't really want to kill him. Hence, that means that any good showing that Thor had during that fight to be due to the Phoenix holding back.

Ergo, your propsal would have us basically ignore all the circumstances surrounding these fights and feats and just go with the highest interepertation because Galactus can be 2-A and Odin has some 2-A outlier feats, just so that it make Thor fighting Wolverine make sense, in spite of the fact that Wolverine's comments about the Phoenix Force straight up gives us the reasoning for that.

So, we already throw away Odin and Mjolnir 2-A even when they consistently garm both Galactus and Phoenix. Ok.

I only hope the end of king thor run will show again that Gorr is above phoenix and even the celestials.
 
Harming a Moderately Fed Galactus is not a 2-A feat, and it's extremely difficult to tell when something has legitimately harmed the Phoenix Force rather than just harming its host's body.

If Gorr beats up some Celestials and the Phoenix Force, then we'll take some time to reconsider, but for now, I firmly stand by my proposals.
 
Actual Gorr is a manifestation of the All Black and wield the blade in its final shape the annihilablade, and Thor managed to harm him. Gorr needs at least a 2-A blade from King Thor run. He ended ligth (the universe (a.k.a eternity)).
 
What was agreed has to be applied first.

Also, the thing about Strange needing to seal the Odinforce because Thor was getting too strong is on Thor's profile

No, those scans are from Dan Jurgen's run during the late 1990s. It is a different alternative future.
 
Actually they are considered the same Thor's grandchildren said that King Thor experience everything the main stream thor did they have the same exact past, heck it's comfirmed that Old king Thor is the same Thor in the war of the realms, and every events after it King Thor experienced it.

They are one and the same comfirmed many times.

Very late reply, but given how Knull (and by extension, The All-Black Sword) contradicts a great deal of Marvel lore, is basically Cate's "author's pet" and is treated incredibly inconsistently, even for Marvel, I would be strongly opposed to giving Thor (or anyone else) keys based on Knull or The All-Black Sword.

It straight up says that the black hole that 616 thor used to imprison Gorr is the same black hole a millenia in the future where king thor is.
 
Additionally, Old King Thor's ranking with the Necrosword is based upon a feat he accomplished while wielding it, so there is no reason to be hesitant about the amp it gave him.
 
Ashen, that is just a product of Marvel's multiversal structure. The different universes in Marvel are caused by divergences in the time stream. That black hole exists in hundreds- thousands- millions of universes. Old King Thor is a possible future existing very close to the main 616 universe, but it logically cannot be the exact same one. I just straight up showed you a list of minor differences between the two. It's very close. It's so close that it can be affected by changes happening in the 616 universe. But it's not identical. It is one of Thor's possible futures.
 
Regardless, we have reached a conclusion on this page. The appropriate characters have been tiered. What needs to be done to conclude our business?

Yup also the reason why future necro God Loki was imprisoned (before he got the amp) was because he kept trying jumping back in the past to kill 616 Thor.

Even future Phoenix force force Wolverine when he travels in the past it brings him directly to the 616 main universe, where he talks with Wolverine who just got the Phoenix force, and Loki that goes on adventure with 616 Logan (source is Wolverine infinity watch).

has far as I'm concerned all the characters in the future are basically the same ones in the 616 continuati and they've been repeating that a lot. And there's no real contradiction since everything that happened in the 616 was comfirmed in the 14412 universe.

Actually while im doing this would you be able to just real quick list the powers Thor had with the Phoenix Force?
 
All avatar receives the same power anyway, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Mind Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Flight, Energy Projection, Energy Absorption, Forcefield Creation, Matter Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Teleportation, Concussive Force Blasts, Resurrection, Life Manipulation, Immortality (Type 4), Time Manipulation, Weather Manipulation and Reality Warping.

These can be given to Wolverine too.

Also for Resurrection regen doom burned Wolverine with hell fire that thing also affects your soul not just body.

Phoenix force was able to Resurrect him and boost his healing factor at the same time, Doom thought he had killed him (with obvious reason) but he underestimated the power of the Phoenix.

King Thor should have all of 616 abilities even if they are slightly different, there's no reason to think king thor can't do the same thing has normal thor.
 
Also King Thor was highly resistant against the penance stare but after getting affected by it he literally gave up on fighting doom and he was feeling insanely depressed, until Wolverine helped him out of it.
 
Penance star is supposed to kill the person the moment they make eye contact it as always been like that unless your a symbiot or something in is different in your physiology it out rights kills you every single time that's how penance stare works.

Thor was Strong enough to survive but it left him damaged.
 
Cosmic ghost rider killed punisher Thanos with a penance stare, so yes it can work that way, I guess it depends how they do it.

That wasn't a penance stare. Take a look at the dialogue.

Ghost Rider: "You got one more thing coming. Penance."

Thanos: "Heh, a gift then? You have tried this before. Your penance stare does not work on me like the others. Unlike you, Thanos is not burdened with regret. "

Ghost Rider: "Never said anything about a stare, boy. I said penance." *Kills him* "Penance means punishment."
