Tekken General Discussion Thread

JIN KAZAMA MAKES his appearance

Interesting that she used the name "Reina Yaotome." I wonder if that's a surname Reina legitimately associates with or if it's just a public name in place of Mishima to avoid unwanted attention at school.

No, but Tekken is really, really ******* bad about it.

A lot of the women from the original cast were replaced with younger versions (Despite the men getting to stay) and the ones that weren't replaced have some excuse as to why they haven't aged.

Street Fighter is alright (At least Chun-Li is 40 and C. Viper is 45, even if they don't look too old).

Neither Viper and Chun Li look their age and didnt see them do any better, they make all females be young looking with jiggle physics

They don't really look their age, but at least they weren't booted out of the game or had some excuse about their bodies being preserved for fifteen or more years while their male colleagues got to have lives and still get to show up for the next game.

Mainly cuz Street Fighter is vague how much time passes between games, between 3 and 6 its obviously a 10 year gap or so, as Li Fen and Mel (Ken kid) are teenagers currently, while previously uber young kids, but they never outright say how long its been, plus they got birthday dates with the year born in too

Tekken not only mentions how long its been between games, but the in universe time between games are shorter, Tekken 4 to Tekken 8 is a little over 1 year gap between them, so its not like some characters age that much, only time we got a long gap is Tekken 2 to Tekken 3
