Wanting to try my hand at an Elden Ring matchup and figured would try this.

Plot: Traveller ended up in Elden Ring's lands with Paimon missing and ends up taking part in the festival in the hopes it will bring them to find Paimon faster.
  • Speed is equalised
  • Inazuma Chapter Traveller is being used, tier 6 is restricted
  • Scarlet Rot Radahn is being used, tier 4 is restricted.
  • Fight takes place in Radahn's boss arena
  • Both start 50 meters apart
Honorary Knight: 0

Red Lion General: 1

Incon: 1

The Traveler's ability list doesn't have anything that blows my mind at first glance. Does anyone know what people he's beaten by this chapter that may be as impressive as Radahn?

Well Traveller has an unquantifiable level of experience, though they are an immortal who travels between worlds.

He does hold their own against Childe who was skilled enough to master virtually every weapon besides the bow by the time he was 14 in just 3 months. Who was then skilled enough to fodder many on the battlefield.

They also can hold their own against Raiden, who has existed since hundreds of years and most martial arts that come from Inazuma are traced back to her creating them more or less.

Huh. Well I would generally say Radahn fits a similar level of experience and skill, even if his mind in this key is the equivalent to a rabid dog's. Looking at their resistances and toolkits, neither of them really have any significant edge against each other, except for Radahn taking a little bit less harm from the Traveler's elemental attacks, if we go by how Elden Ring game mechanics interpret wind and earth as physical and lightning as... lightning.

I might be inclined to give it to Radahn since he overall has more close quarters reach and better ranged combat, but I don't know enough about Genshin to confidently argue this. Unless someone makes a really compelling argument on this, I'm going to vote Incon.

It looks like the Traveler is scaled to the Geovishap's earthquake for whatever reason. The yield of the earthquake got a rating over 2x higher than Radahn's mountain level AP. So Traveler technically has a significant AP gap. Radahn has a huge range advantage and a gargantuan lifting strength advantage. Not to mention he is far more versatile with gravity magic than the Traveler is with any of Genshin's elements that the Traveler would possess by Inazuma. The Traveler needs to get in melee range to do anything and even giving them an AP advantage which is arguably pretty silly it'd take a lot to put Radahn down who'd arguably play around with them.

I'ma go with Radahn mid-high-diff.
