I'll be using an obscure verse for this...If Cell from Dragonball Z was adapted into the continuity of your favourite series, what would happen?
- What parts of his backstory changes to fit your verse's canon?
Very little, probably, unless you're gonna pull specific members of Arachnos out to play.
- Who/What could be used in place of Androids 17 and 18?
Well, it'd have to be BEFORE Statesman is canonically offed during Issue 22.
- When in the story would he pop up?
Chances are he'd catch a lot of heroes' attention and be taken down that way, but if he manages to kill Statesman... he's gonna have problems. Specifically with Lord Recluse and the entirety of Arachnos now on his dick he'd probably be killed soon afterwards like the guy who actually managed to kill Statesman in-story.
- How does the story change due to his presence? Does he kill certain people? Does the deaths of countless civilians change the main characters' priorities?
Depends on the big bad, but I'll use Lord Recluse for this example...
- Does he usurp the Big Bad and become the main villain, or is he trumped instead?
Beating his ass in because he'd make himself known and get railed by either the Surviving Eight, Player heroes/villains, or someone like Lord Recluse.
- If a resistance is mounted against him by the main characters, what would it take to defeat him before he reaches Perfection?
Chances are people like the heroes would, but otherwise he'd probably get ganked by some of the less then happy individuals
- Who would stand against him in the Cell Games? What would happen if they won/lost?
Keep in mind, all of this was done assuming his perfect form is around Statesman/Emperor Cole/Lord Recluse tier in Perfect, because they're the non-incarnate god-tiers of the verse. If he was at normal power he just blitzes and sweeps lol
- If he's too strong for your verse, how would it play out if he wasn't?
Cookie Run: Kingdom for the context of this postyour favourite series
Cell is now a Cookie, this doesn't actually mean anything other than additional hax since Cookie Run makes every crossover character a Cookie as if they always were one. What parts of his backstory changes to fit your verse's canon?
What would happen: Android 17 Cookie and Android 18 Cookie
- Who/What could be used in place of Androids 17 and 18?
What would happen: His own self-contained story after he/the main gang enters a portal to go through to the Cookie World/DB Earth
- When in the story would he pop up?
- How does the story change due to his presence? Does he kill certain people? Does the deaths of countless civilians change the main characters' priorities?
What would happen: Nuh uh, the main gang fights him and they either win or it's a stalemate or they team up to fight a bigger evil like Dark Enchantress Cookie or something. Cookie Run is not that brave with its crossovers
- Does he usurp the Big Bad and become the main villain, or is he trumped instead?
The Creme Republic does this in an act of revenge for Cell Cookie killing their "king". They don't have the firepower or tracking technology yet due to lacking Pure Vanilla Cookie's Soul Jam, so they often just show up stationed in random areas or the player's Kingdom to assist the MCs in other ways. Dark Enchantress Cookie puts her plans on hold to deal with Cell Cookie because she wants to rule the world but he wants to destroy it + she can't beat someone with the power of 3 Soul Jams alone. Therefore she allies with the protags to focus on taking down Cell Cookie
- If a resistance is mounted against him by the main characters,
The MCs blitzing him before he even fires the Solar Flare and destroys him immediately in the Pure Vanilla encounter (out of character), otherwise he's relative to them and quick to escape
- what would it take to defeat him before he reaches Perfection?
The main protagonists because their power genuinely fluctuates to fit the context, every Legendary Cookie, Ancient Cookie and every combat-focused Epic Cookie.
- Who would stand against him in the Cell Games? What would happen if they won/lost?
The fodder is 2-B and have passive data transmutation and fatehax
- If he's too strong for your verse, how would it play out if he wasn't?
How do you think the humans not involved in Cell's creation would react to this abomination?Jurassic Park/World:
After the events of Fallen Kingdom, the body of the Indoraptor is retrieved by agents of BioSyn, for the DNA to be acquired and experimented on for the sake of creating a better, more efficient hybrid.
The flaws of the original Indoraptor are ironed out, with more DNA added in for greater enhancements. Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Pyroraptor, and Atrociraptor are amongst those theropods added in for increased size and power, but other creatures are added. Dilophosaurus, Mozambique spitting cobra, and bombardier beetle are included for ranged weaponry. Several species of starfish, flatworms, and the axolotl are included for regenerative capabilities to heal from grievous injuries. Quetzalcoatlus and Dimorphodon allow for the use of a set of wings, enabling flight.
But most notably, human DNA is added for heightened intelligence and dexterity. Specifically, Dr. Henry Wu and John Hammond's DNA are included in the creation of the newly born hybrid, codenamed 'Cell'. The result is a dinosaurian hybrid larger and stronger than the Indoraptor, but smaller than the likes of large theropods like Rexy and Indominus Rex, with the anthropomorphic posture and mindset of a human being.
Of course, the arrogance of mankind is thinking nature is in their control, and not the other way around.
Cell is born with self-awareness, fully cognizant and having the same free will as a human, and he quickly grows to despise BioSyn's cruel methods of training him to be their weapon of war. All it takes is for one careless employee to be led into a false sense of security, and Cell breaks out of his containment, slaughtering all who try to stop him and escaping the facility.
This just so happens to occur right around the climax of Dominion, and much like the Therizinosaurus, Cell is drawn to the conflict between Rexy and the Giganotosaurus. A battle quickly ensues, but the Giga, in spite of his size advantage, is outmatched by Cell's agilit y and strategic mind. Rexy and the Therizinosaurus get involved, and the Giganotosaurus is killed in the battle. Afterwards, both the Tyrannosaurus and Therizinosaurus turn their attention to Cell, but he proves capable in fighting them both off, before escaping the battle. Keeping to himself henceforth, Cell now wanders the land, dealing with his own existential crisis as he wonders if he is truly meant to exist in this world, and if it could at all be possible for him to survive with others he could call family.
Definitely shock at the discovery of human DNA being used to create such a creature, but any further feelings/thoughts on Cell would likely hinge on just how Cell acts or what he does as a result of him being free. How do you think the humans not involved in Cell's creation would react to this abomination?
Actually then again all it takes is an arbiter to take notice and then Cell is likely cooked.Hmm... Cell in the PMVerse(Project Moon verse)...
I feel like this can go 2 ways
