My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

Or maybe it has already been discussed before and not a lot of people are interested in it.

Unless, of course, you actually make a CRT for whatever it is you want to accomplish.

The only thread where I saw it was never answered and it was locked. Just like any discussion on Aoyama

  • Tech based
  • Straight line
  • No explosions
  • Reflected via mirrors

4: They do not reflect off mirrors, those are part of Flect's tech and they're covered in a film like oil to reverse reflections. He even uses these same "mirrors" to float by reversing the impact. We see multiple times in the movie those "mirrors" can shoot out blast of air to help increase his striking strength.

The beams are never once called lasers either and the mirrors are not mirrors. Flect's weapons are just generic energy beams with no name.

This has been discussed and explained far too many times in this discussion thread.

You people will deny light speed if Horikoshi himself said it.

Curious question: under the assumption we where to atleast get 2 continental feat from the upcoming movie and no continental feat from eos mha, how would this affect the scaling chain?

Are gonna just call the movie feat an outlier given it the best option or upscale everyone eos key?

Is there ever going to be a Prime AFO key?
Probably not.
All For One's kit in his prime is largely unknown. All we know is that he:
  • Possessed All For One, which includes:
    • Spearlike Bones.
    • Power Stockpiling Quirk—Later transferred to Yoichi; Merged into One For All.
    • Unnamed Luminescence Quirk—Luminescence.
    • Unnamed Spatial Distortion Quirk—Killed Yoichi, destroyed "Hawks".
    • Life Force.
    • Unnamed Telekinesis Quirk—Used to stop a bullet projected by Kudo; Draw Daigo closer.
    • Unnamed Whatever-He-Used-To-Bifurcate-En Quirk—Bifurcated En.
    • Unnamed Lie Detector Quirk—Detects lies.
    • Unnamed Spear Quirk—Killed Bruce.
    • Unnamed Tendril Quirk and Unnamed Explosion Quirk—Killed Nana.
    • Transforming Arms,—Restrained Hood,—all of which are largely one-note or complete unknowns.
  • Killed the previous One For All users, all of whom are of unknown strength.
  • Battled with and critically wounded All Might via unknown means.

Wouldn't he also have the Glowing Baby's quirk? Plus he most likely survived hits from All Might in his prime so he could have 6-B durability

We've been over this many times at this point. Prime AFO is 100% unknown and cannot be index properly. He'd just scale above his Weakened self, as it's been agreed he has no reason to scale to Prime All Might beyond some unknown method of attacking that blew a hole through him.

Nothing suggest AFO hurt All Might outside of that blow and nothing suggest he could take direct hits from All Might. The only time we saw Prime AFO take a punch from Prime All Might, it blew apart the top of his head like passing through air. Maybe he could or couldn't take hits or injure him, but we cannot rely on pure speculation.

If Prime AFO gets a key, it'll be because we actually see him in a battle.

A redditor pointed this out to me.

Star and Stripe’s explosion radius is 189800m, which is 117 miles and 189 in kilometres. But Endeavour said they’re only roughly 50km away when they begin to fight. Wouldn’t they be enveloped in the explosion?

Isn't this the basis of Rusty's Calc?

This fight took place outside of Japan's airspace, in the Pacific Ocean. The ocean is 3.7 kilometers deep. Let's start with the crater.

Star and Stripes' explosion radius varies hugely depending on what you're using to scale it.
