Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

Not the same thing. The portal was used on Naruto while he was still. For Boruto he was moving thus Kawaki placed the portal where he would appear and Boruto saw it, even though he was running, he could not just jump out of the portal he needed to absorb it, basically unless you can absorb the portal you are a gunner. I mean are you saying Base Naruto is slower than Base Boruto?

Okay now let's think about this. Why would Kawaki need to make the portal in front of Boruto instead of on him, if the portal can close around the person faster than they can escape it?

I mean you're basically saying "Kawaki had to predict Borutos movements because the portal isn't enough to match his flight speed"

Base Naruto was mentally distressed as he just heard his son tell him and his wife that he'll kill their other son while his devastated wife cried behind him.

Boruto saw it in front of him while he was running and then it grew bigger. If he could just run out of it then there is no need for him to activate karma to absorb it.

apparently on the official naruto website, it is confirmed that when momoshiki time-stops as a spirit, it was not a psyche plane. It was the passge of time for everyone but boruto. which could mean the rinnegan is more cracked if possible.

Boruto was mid air and falling/jumping in the direction of the portal. He had no reliable way of changing his trajectory and even if he did, that would take more time and effort than pulling out karma.

Like you yourself have pointed out, Kawaki sniped Boruto by putting the portal in front of him so that Boruto flies into it himself making his speed a non issue.

saw that, W confirmation.

I think we already have it as a possibly on Otsutsuki Profiles, so we can probably work on getting the possibly removed. could also give Sasuke an unconventional resistance to Time Stop since he can see during it but doesn't show the ability to move.

We don't still know if all Otsutsuki have complete resistance to Time Stop. So far we have, Kawaki, Momoshiki, ishiki and Shibai and that is all. Possibly for any Otsutsuki other than those 4 is fine.

@Nierre Two things we can get from this, either Momoshiki can implant karma as a spirit or he stopped time in his physical form to implant the karma.

Maybe it was supposed to hint at nature energy being strong against Juubito + uncontrolled Juubito's TSOs dont have the as cracked properties of TSOs we see later. IIRC we don't treat them as having EE (I could be wrong tho)

So i'm thinking momo would get acasuality and someone else would either get layered time stop or there would be talk of a higher time stream soon. The latter seems the least likely though
