    Hey Arc, so I have a logic question regarding the ETSB that I wanted to run by you…

    As Naruto states, as well as the DB, the ETSB is the same as the ones that Naruto, Obito & Madara had, except for 2 factors:
    1. Size
    2. Power held within
    So the question is, being as the ETSB is a constantly growing sphere, and thus doesn’t have a “Set” Size, if Kaguya where to rapidly expand the ETSB like Obito, unlike his that did have a set size, would it be even possible for her’s to “retract”, as she’d be rapidly expanding a continuously expanding sphere that had no set size?

    Does that make sense? 🤔 If the Standard TSB is a 10 in size, and can be expanded to 100 before retracting back to 10, in the Case of the ETSB, between it’s Starting Size & Final Size, it doesn’t have a set size, so logically it can only be rapidly expanded to it’s final size, no?

    Let me ask you this then… why does its size correlate to AP? According to the DB, it simply has the power to destroy the World and is depicted at it’s base size. While it does expand, it says nothing about continuously swelling up with more Chakra. All the Chakra within the jutsu was absorbed when she absorbed Chakra from IT to create the Jutsu in first place.

    Because of the disintegration and eraser properties of the TSB, it having that AoE is significant, but the “Power” within it would still just be 5-B, as per the DB and context behind it’s creation, no?

    Based on the statements and feats and implications, wouldn't it make more sense for the ETSB to simply be: “5-B in AP, Up to Tier 4 in AoE/DC”

    That’s an entirely own separate debate. Idrc if you think it’s more consistent to be a 5-B thing vs like a 4-B thing, or how you break up the minutia of the technique. I’m operating on the presupposition that as it grows larger it gets more potent, since the technique is described as one that can cause mass destruction over time. And we know by explicit and implicit statements that it’s like the most powerful TSO. That’s all to say I don’t have a vested interest in convincing that the ETSO is any rating as far as AP vs DC goes.

    But as for the DB statement, it just copy pastes the panel from the manga. We never see it reach full size so obviously the databook isn’t going to show it at full size. You’re drawing correlations that don’t exist. I know I’d get a lot of flack for this take, but I think it’s fine to read the databook as describing it as this vaguely beyond 5-B attack. Apologies that I can’t give you a concrete answer of “this is the only right answer and here’s why”, I recommend you consult with others and develop of a CRT if your feelings are still strong on the subject.

    About scaling,

    Base yhwach > ichibei > squad zero > temporarily amped uryu/ mimihagi marked uryu, Jugram (masked ruler) > yamamoto, Royd, enraged fullbring ichigo > peak gerard > adult toshiro > Bankai zaraki (tybw) > Gremmy 8 clones > shikai zaraki > ~ Bankai Unohana ~ Pernida, Mayuri.

    It's a hard disagree from me about Renji and byakuya scaling anywhere close. Their scaling to up there is heavily questionable even with anime circumstances.

    I also think we should handle mayuri's scaling carefully

    I thought it was statement about mirror universe.

    Parellel can be interpreted many ways. I will just give you 2 examples. 1. Though things that can never meet by extension. (Mathematical term)
    2. Two things of different categories, still having striking resemblance.
    There more interpretations.
    And none suggests same size, but occasionally suggests similar shape.
    The word fundamentally means close resemblence, not exact same.

    Yeah I don't really feel like entertaining this. I don't think we will see eye to eye on this, and I'm not invested enough to have a lengthy text debate. If you think the evidence to make a CRT be my guest; however, I will certainly be in opposition to it, not to mention vsbw probably won't allow for larger than Earth planet calcs for Earth-like planets.

    Frankly I don't get enjoyment in having to crush supporters dreams when I have to prove to them that they're super high end metas aren't consistent or correct. Personally speaking, I'd rather converse with someone who lowballs the verse than highballs the verse. That's no slight against you personally, but respectfully I don't want to listen to an online persona tell me how they think Bleach's planet is like the size of Jupiter or sumn. I find it super annoying, which again is less to do with you and more to do with the action. I think people should read series a bit more critically when it comes to powerscaling, call me old fashioned, but there are far too many liberal perspectives that give birth to absurdity.

    Links on the cosmology page don't work and I vaguely remember it has statement about mirror universe not planet. Had to ask about that. And only stated the justification you mentioned for planets being same sized is incorrect.

    I am personally not much interested in this matter. I will look into the evidence. It has nothing to do with feelings. You can be in disagreements anytime, I don't see it as enjoyment.

    I think with combined effort, a solution for the scaling can be found, I believe this feat is consistent and can be scaled with correct indexing and scan

    at least on gremmy, zaraki, gerard, if you want you can fix better the scaling on the future.

    Just wanted to remind you about something regarding Bleach.

    The 4-A feat that's linked to the Verse Page that was accepted? You can't simply link a CRT there (Given that CRT links can go poof at any given time). You need to link to a blog post instead. You could just copy-paste whatever was accepted on the CRT into a blog and then add the link to the verse page and relevant profiles, and then link to the CRT in the edit summary.

    Obviously I can't do it because 1. I DON'T DO BLEACH and 2. I'm on an edit ban from regular pages. Just thought you should know. Cheers.

    Nothing significant really. Konpaku normally emphasizes the form of the spirit, hence while you’ll see it translated sometimes as spiritual body instead of just spirit/soul.
