    Wanted to say I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression on the thread or anything. I understand your concerns and frustrations in regards to what you were thinking. I just wanted to ease those frustrations by pointing out you may have been overthinking it. Which I get, I tend to do that too, and also saw another vs thread where I read the title and thought it gave "weird" vibes. Now I don't have the context of knowing One Piece like that, tho I did know about CSM. I'm on Part 2 of that rn so I'm not completely in the dark. Just wanna make it very clear I've got nothing against u, you seem cool. Just feared the thread could escalate to throwing around accusations which is like worst case scenario since that quickly goes to RvR.

    Ah, maybe I was jumping the gun on what you were thinking. Or maybe to some degree it holds true. I understand the frustration tho. I didn't have the full context, so I can see why that's an annoying loss after what you told me. You can try to have the match removed if you don't like the verdict, tho I feel like there will be contention so I'd prolly not go for that. But hopefully it doesn't sour ur mood for the rest of the day. Matches that are won through unorthodox means are both fun, yet also frustrating because there's more variables going towards it than an ordinary fight. It's why I would've preferred something like Quanxi vs Maki. Much more straight-forward but seems like it'd make for a fun interaction were it to be written.

    TL;DR: In short, softer materials halt and absorb energy. Harder materials do the opposite; they're unable to halt and absorb a significant amount of kinetic energy from a receiving object (thus, causing an effect where the force/energy since it has nowhere to go, a lot or most of it comes back to the receiving object if it can't damage the target object greatly). Linear momentum could be used in cases where the target object isn't at least near-immovable.

    Ah, glad to hear that. Yeah sometimes things on this site annoy or stress me out too much so I leave for quite a while. Hopefully that doesn’t happen much more often. I have mainly been chatting with indie game developers I know and have been getting art made. It’s been fun.

    Unfortunately on this site the only verse I want to upgrade is stuck with an admin who really doesn’t want it to change at all, so that verse is pretty much dead on this site. So my next biggest thing is maybe downgrade and upgrading Bloodborne. I really hate it’s currently scaling chain (like seriously half of Gerhman’s teammates don’t scale to him and that’s goofy)

    Question, where's the thread/replies on confirming that knowledge on the opponent that's fictional in their verse doesn't count as prior knowledge in a versus match against them? This is relevant since people are arguing thatknowledge on the opponent that's fictional in their verse counts as prior knowledge here for CH.

    Well, I am a Terraria fan, it's my favorite game. I want it to be depicted accurately in vsbw. I organized a CRT attempt months ago to try to downgrade the verse (But I accidentally ended up bringing up feats that might upgrade the verse to galaxy level to "fabric of the universe" level)

    But yeah, we are trying to downgrade and upgrade certain parts. Not out of spite nor anything.

    No it doesn’t. It doesn’t take flight into consideration at all, that’s the default assumption, but that assumption can change.

    Many monsters straight up can’t hit flying opponents, how would that be a 50/50?

    Also, even assuming it is a 50/50, why is it a 50/50 from skill and not any other stat. Why could a monster not just win through sheer strength? Many monsters are specifically stated to be mindless beast, how would they win through skill when they are specifically stated to be dumb and unskilled?

    I will only reply once, as I'm not particularly interested ln dwelling in this. We have different interpretations. I go with what the game tells us for the purposes of analyzing them on a given debate, it seems to me you go by play experience (which we don't take into consideration, as it opens the gates for quite some nonsense that can be done in-game).

    The game does take into consideration flight and abilities like that. It takes into consideration what a party can do at any given level, and see whether they can fight a monster of said challenge rating.

    We assume 50/50 by skill, because all other stats scale by how we take CR. Which while I disagree, it is reasonable too. We can stay all day and night figuring out scenarios. The fact is, the game tells us is 50/50. The fact we know for a fact they can give fight, no matter the experience and skill of the individual, no matter what combination of race, feats, spells, numbers, stats, abilities, etc., then they have to scale. That's the baseline assumption. Else we enter into a lot of game mechanics and scenarios that can happen, but doesn't mean they will go like that 100%. Because once again, is 50/50.

    And despite certain creatures being mindless by Int stat, they still have Wis stat, which measures experience, willpower, instinct and couple of other things. Doesn't matter anyways. Again, the game says is 50/50, we take it into consideration.

    Though, I just want to say, there are creatures with low wisdom, intelligence, and dexterity (I mean, low in all three at once) that can fight the party. So those are examples of literally every stat that relates to skill not mattering for a monster to fight the party.

    Monster can still be stronger than you, but scale to what you scale to. They aren’t different tiers, they are just a bit stronger.

    I definitely need to go to bed though, and I still find it likely this is just differing opinions. So good night.

    Why would he be weaker in Dark Souls 3. I’m pretty sure the staff supporters made a tier list once and most agreed with him just being 8-B and 4-C during the dark souls 3 dlc. I also think that would be best because he never actually fights you in canon nor anyone else up to the very last dlc.

    Once the feats actually get evaluated and my current CRT on some missing powers are done. I also am planing on upgrading the speed, but I haven’t typed up my arguements for that yet and I need to calc the Terrarian in comparison to the meteors (meteor staff), falling stas (they now fall fast enough to catch fire and are heavily implied to be comets), and the lightning from the celestial towers (they were removed due to being instant in the background, but that simply isn’t true).

    That reminds me, why not calc the Wall of flesh's mass as well? IIRC, the dude covers the entire height of the world, including large ones.

    I did a silly quick calc, and I got about 26k~ tons, which is still Class M, but definitely higher than everything else.

    He’s only the height of the world due to gameplay mechanic. On average he shouldn’t be immensely tall. I do think however he should be vastly wider than the three walls wide we currently have him at (it came from a old trailer, it’s dumb). Personally I think unknown is better for him especially since he effortlessly overpowers the Terrarian so nobody would scale (though it should be Class M scaling to the Terrarian, likely higher)

    In RWBY stuff that is used irl for explosives literally does not exist, its all subsumed by Fire Dust, just like how fuel as a whole doesnt exist and is replaced by different applications of fire dust

    Why did you link that one instead of the calc that got an 8-B end. Considering the 8-C one is by itself I am more inclined to trust the calc members opinions on that one, since they can focus solely on it. Especially since the 8-C one looks more refined.

    Heck the 8-B end is the ones from years ago, you said the 8-B results were a recent recalc (or at least heavily implied). You just somewhat or technically lied to me again.
