    rick can still die with gun shots pretty sure rick wont travel to another dimension just to kill doof with a portal gun and i dont think that he will put it in his mind and with prep doctor doof would just malfunct it and build something to protect himself.

    he only uses his portal gun to teleport to other dimensions,planets,etc he wont use it for short distance like that and btw The Accelerateinator and the Do-Over-Inator can destroy space and time while you can easily argue that rick can DIE from one bullet
