    Primarily seems to be that the Traveler could fight with the opponent beforehand, they just couldn't win against them. So the disagreement says they should downscale (at least my disagreement was that much).

    I disagree for the reasons stated, since the Traveler was able to fight and harm Shouki no Kami implying they would downscale. Assuming these 168 fights aren't just The Traveler getting hit once and hitting the Yamcha Death Pose. If there was actually a contest, then they should just downscale.
