    This was a thing since DMC 3, there is no reason to stop being a thing. Specially when his stamina sucks so much that his concept of healing his wounded and resting (by Vergil's words) is continuing going up in the Qliphoth Tree and fighting 3 considerably strong demons

    Catching with his hands, deflecting with the swords, the thing that really matters is that he deals with each one of them individually, as the times that he does not do that he simply destroy the arrows (that's how a Heilig Pfeil works)

    It would be impossible for Ichigo to redirect all the Heilig Pfeil doing the Swung his Sword assumption. It's not new to the series that, unless you directly redirect, you are actively destroying the arrow, so this matter can be resolved just by contextualizing with the rest of the series...

I mean, it is a meteorite, Gremmy's knowledge of meteorites is at least the same as ours (i.e: come from space and stuff), so there is no apparent reason for it not to be like that. After all...

    Actually not, that is not true. Argosax did not made any portal. The only portal made in DMC 2 was the one in the endgame, and it was the result of Arius's failing to correctly open Argosax seal. Halfway through the game it was already stated that the both worlds were merging.
