    unless it was 3 min per set of 800 meters. I'm not sure which, it seemed to be said later that the lesser feat was true but earlier it seemed like the greater feat was true so we need to clear this up

    in episode 47 of hajime no ippo, Ippo runs 8 sets of 800 meter dashes in about 3 minutes. assuming that it was exactly 3 minutes which should be right given it was probably a second or two off then we can see that ippo ran 6400 meters in 180 seconds given 8 x 800= 6400 and 60 x 3 =180. now we...
