Poeple will point to how NDMC has 2nd highest video game anime viewership on Netflix, surpassing even Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Yet no one cares beyond 1st see through. Edgerunners and every other popular video game anime has following behind that engages in fandom enthusiastically. Whether its fanfiction, fan art, fan comics even nsfw **** of various kinds, same with powerscaling anywhere.
Notice how weak and bare fan engagement is with NDMC. Its similar to Avatar the blue alien movies, its watch and forget. Atleast the 3rd avatar movie had goonable dommy mommy alien shaman that etched itself into pop fiction.
There's nothing that stands out about the NDMC, people aren't even attracted to the characters in any manner. Not the story, not the persona, not the aura nor the sex appeal. Nothing, even though there's so much potential. For example, the Lucia clones with sexy french accent, tan, evil attitude and large ass, I haven't seen a single art of her lol.

Why would anyone seriously care about fan art claims lmao? One of my favorite manga of all time is Gunnm and there's barely any calcs or "fandom" for it here. So what?

You can directly pull statistics from Netflix about the show, many already did so. Referring to perceived number of fan arts you're seeing on the site you like isn't statistics, that's an anecdote. It's also a false dilemma.

I know very poorly done work, its not even complete or well made, hence i said not properly updated. If people were passionate, it would have been completed elaborately with good formatting and spoilers is someone gave a damn.

Contrary to what you think, making edits to more than 40 pages and creating new ones in the span of 2 weeks takes time. It's the reason even here it takes a while just to get 1 page up even for popular series like JJK. We just got a complete Dabura page now, and it isn't due to a lack of "passion".
Read the words you're typing because you obviously don't know what they mean. Spending money, what people did for the Avatar movies far more than most, is engagement. Just like Spending money and your time to watch a show is engagement. This, is, again, just your anecdote.

Iirc we had main 3 pages of Dante/Mary/Rabbit in few days of time here, CRTs, debates, Sandboxes of profiles, calcs etc.
GoW guys made SoS keys and pages in few days.
JJK is general moves very slowly from what I have seen due to how much the fandom is too big and always debating.
I am talking about fandom engagement with participating in internet with fan content or similar. That is a life blood of a verse. For example, many people can buy a video game but it can have very low concurrent players because people are not playing. Take Multiversus, huge openning, tons of players, now almost dead by comparison.
And thats just playing game as an example, the life of a media can be checked by how much "fans" participate in fandom with their own content.
For example, combo mads, freestyles, tournaments, modding scene, fanfictions, fan arts, cosplaying, music, fan comics, etc are what keep DMC OG alive in fandom.

Yeah, the viewer/playerbase just watching/playing something and doing pretty much nothing else means that media is very, very dry. No art? No memes, no nothing?

The only activity online NDMC has is OG fans ******** on NDMC, and other side who is propping up NDMC by ******** on OG. Legit thats it, very very few actual fan content.
I lurk AO3, frequency of new fics there or on FF.net is very low or just Season 1 continuations. I would call it non-existant because majority are still fics of OG. On twitter pr Pixiv only very people who drew art of NDMC. I don't know about TikTok or Insta or FB, but I doubt there is genuine content there as well.
Compare that to Edgerunners or Castlevania Netflix which has its own dedicated fanbase and activity by comparison.

I've rarely seen positive or even neutral posts of NDMC that weren't "it's not as bad!"/"It's better than OG!". Like, nothing of its own.
And like, it's not like every new entry that goes into a franchise has to be a hit (Sons of Sparta hate was overblown but it was largely a quiet release, and even it has some fanart already) but when you're an adaptation, especially of DMC, I'd expect like something of note in pop culture. Look at Invincible, the Boys, Edgerunners, Castlevania, Arcane etc.

Actually it doesn't.
I have reworked some pages here, really big pages and I noticed that it can all be done in one day. In my case I'm just really lazy to actually do stuff that's why I take a lot of time but if I had the motivation to go through, it would only take me some hours.
The JJK goons taking a ton of time to make a page that can be done in less than 1 day is just them being JJK fans lol.
Netflix pages are very small compared to the ones we have here, even more so in that fandom wiki.

Pages and verses don't get deleted solely because "nobody cares" about them. I made a detailed page for VR Spider-Man, only me and the guy who made calcs for it care about that guy. Literally no one else. But we wouldn't delete that page because "nobody cares about him"

Yea, I don't think the "life blood" of a franchise or a show is people making sh!tposts and memes. You can't compare a video game that was in beta and then cancelled shortly after release to a multi-season TV show that releases yearly in the same regard. or hell, sticking with video games, Deus Ex obviously doesn't get more engagement than Call of Duty 24 just because more people have made more mods and shitty video essays about it.
If anything, I think your priorities are lopsided if you think "internet fandom" matters more than objective metrics like consistently getting more viewership. Nocturne for example has fewer and fewer views per season, it did not garner more engagement because you somehow found art you liked of it on Twitter than Avatar the blue alien movie.
More people watched the latter nearly two decades ago, put their money where their mouth is and watched it again nearly two decades later. That's "life" when people are willing to spend their time and money, than a smaller group of people drawing things.

You're mixing up like 5 different things I've typed.
The topic of viewership was about the popularity, liking, and engagement of the show. By that metric, yes, Logan Paul gets pretty good engagement.
Believe it or not, if you do your job well, you will create new fans. The fans did not create Devil May Cry, Kamiya, Takeyasu, Itsuno, even Mikami etc. hold the mantle as creators of this series.
Yes, Visions of V is good because it is a standalone comic that tells a good story on its own even if you ignore that it's a tie-in to DMC5. There's far stronger characterization in Visions of V than anything within DMC5. It's to the point that V as he's portrayed within the confines of the comic is an even better character than V as he's portrayed in the game and he's a protagonist of both.
The problem however is that being connected isn't enough. You see this sort of thing with 3rd party material that isn't actually part of the main plot that a player needs to go out and buy themselves. FF15 had this same issue with separate movies, TV shows, etc. It's good that we actually spent time to go and read a comic that released nearly a year after the game did, but the vast majority of the 12+ million people who bought DMC5 didn't and will never read it. It should've been part of the main game.

Wow you discovered a new concept. However this is DMC netflix and a lot of the fans say this isnt great so yeah that job isn't done well. Some say its good ok, but it shows the discourse. And yeah no shit but they need fan feedback too. DMC 2 almost killed the franchise and got lucky thx to itsuno. Even if it does make new fans that doesn't magically mean its great.
You do know if you say dmc 5 is bad then u kinda ignore a lot of the franchise DMC 3 especially....even without those its fine but its an accumulation of the series. You don't need to know everything, but its very clear and doesn't contradict itself.

Again no point saying the games have bad story to defend it. Anyone can like DMC netflix. Just don't go about the games as if you do know about it.
I did Watched it all, even without the dmc problems its so underwhelming as a standalone.
Since i'm here I'll say this
Season 1: It's lady may cry. She is insufferable and flip flops too much like crazy, backstabbing dante and the like. White rabbit is not great either and Dante feels too much in the background (also music choices are ass. Remixing a theme for another character and making a worse version.) Also demons like agni and rudra are now mid.
I was giving it some leeway since its the opening season but its wack. Only 2 episodes where good (the first two) then animation and story wise it fell off.
Season 2: **** all it gets worse. While lady IS an improvement (From insufferable dummy to just dummy...upgrade people) and great opening...that's it. Vergil fights more like Dante than Dante. Both barely use their projectile weapons (Vergil is a better gunslinger than Dante for crying out loud). Jackpot is used horribly more as a gag. Argosax is super mid now. Dante and Lady in here have ZERO chemistry and Adi had no balls for them to show us they banged cuz that would salvaged SOMETHING out of that romance (I mean Lady's zipper was holding for dear life). Bury the light is...massacred...its not hate of the vocalist its just the direction is so underwhelming it hurts. Dante's powers are more random cuz he could DT in season 1 so HTF he forgot. Virgin (not calling him Vergil) runs a way a lot more and trauma dumps on ANYONE. For the Sons of Sparda they are hilariously outmatched a lot. Also Vergil flip flops about humans and mama (calling them weak and blah blah but was like: No mama!), doesn't even question Mundus's talking points even ONCE like with his father and how he was a super deadbeat (despite: Check your sources. It's cuz he made it the **** up). I have to complain on the "if our positions were switch" line cuz it's contextual in the games as Vergil's human side watched on and realized his problem while this? Feels random.
Animation got an upgrade too...that's it. I still hate the normal af DT from season 1 and the lost of their MAIN weapons.
Overall. I rather take DMC 2 and reboot stories cuz they were either dumbass funny at times yet characterized better (reboot at least showed how Dante and Vergil had their own strengths and weaknesses and used ALL their arsenal in the final fight) or painfully simple and mid yet less contradictions (DMC 2 at least is just simple as hell with a few hiccups at the end) or weak as this. Straight up I can't see Dante NOR Vergil as badass even without DMC knowledge cuz of how many Ls they took or I can't feel their growth at all.
