Also, a bit unrelated, but I've been having fun checking stuff around in some sort of korean cafe chat with stuff on Knight Run.

Ah, you probably mean the Naver Cafe. The only source of KR fan content there is. Anything interesting there?

Obviously it is subject to stupid auto translation doing really stupid things, so take heaping piles of salt-

But if it is believable, there are a few like: Cross Eyes may actually be directly scalable to full power Dry or close. The satellite weaponry used when they wanted to pin them down and isolate them has something something "when used in the hundreds or the thousands, these things have planet destruction capability" or something of that sense. Even if was just complete surface annihilation, Therefir's calc for that puts it at like 180 petatons. Even if you divided it at the extreme by 2000, that's around 6-B at worst. This could also excuse some more the author's statement about Pray and Dry.

There's also how another of the Leonhardt's had Mandala, and that it derives from hyper cognitive organs or some specialized biology due to the engineering in their bloodline that allows for the calculations of probabilities which they use for it, and he also does have other examples of using it later seemingly.

There's also the fact that waves imitate idea power, what stuff like Morglay or Balisarda do. And that Idea power as well is pretty much selection of possibilities to render them absolute, but the issue becomes that you have to individually calculate every variable that may disturb the specific result that you desire for, and then grind them all down into a 0% to preserve the 100% possibility you wanna actualize into reality (which has some interesting implications for Fear just completely disregarding the shield and turning off the Core of the planet). Another reason why Morglay has a lot of issues despite it's power, it's size is so massive there's a lot more you gotta calculate.

The weapon Leah took from Lucifer pretty much makes a barrier that shuts off energy. The engines using cores of any ship that passes through turns off, and their blasts as well, while she can allow her own fleet to fire through it without issue, and it can cover around the area of the Arin planet. It also has an ability where it is instead compressed, and the barrier is sucked back into the weapon, at which point... well, if you saw the latest translated chapters in Dex or through other means, I am sure you saw the 3 landmasses that Lucifer seemingly annihilated. Omnis Mundi seems to be matched with it when used in this way.

This one I am deeply unsure about, and there is likely some context that doesn't make it as grand as it sounds, Cassim may have used his blood power to keep a planet together or something like that...? If even a fraction of this is true, it would still be impressive since his power is supposed to get weaker the farther his blood is from him.

And among the heroes, with the likely exception of Dry, Sophia and Diorasis IV seem to be at the very top in pure power. Sophia in every single area under certain conditions, and Diorasis as a Paranormal Power User.

Huh, fascinatingly enough, i have seen similar information on Spacebattles, so either everyones either google translating shit from there or its legit, which is pretty incredible. Powernull via propability manipulation ahoy lol.

The problem with the Author statement wasnt about the Cross Eyes but Fear. I can buy Cross Eyes being as powerful as Endgame Dry (Even though that would be a scaling nightmare but thats a discussion for when thats legit) But it messes with the in-universe scaling. Because if we accept Endgame Dry =< Prime Pray then we would get shit like Prime Pray = Full power Fear < Freshly aquired Mandala Dry > Endgame Dry, which obviously dosnt make sense. Gotta see for when we reach that point.

Which may take its while again, because KR translations were dropped again...

Mhm, am aware. It is sad, but at least there are people that are genuinely interested to translate. That alone gives me a lot more hopes than other series.

As for the scaling issues, you gotta keep in mind that timing really changes a lot. The specific answer was something like "considering what we have seen so far", and the answer of the author seems to account those specific conditions as well, saying "if it's under these conditions". So the factor of when the question was made matters.

Like, there's even mention that some fans had no clue what to expect of the Velchees 7 heroes and that they seemed to fall short or kinda comparable of the Cold Heroes after all their fanfare, but arcs like Nightfall pretty much made people think that in 1v1, the Velchees 7 seem to be above everyone but the top of the crop fo the heroes, and even then they may be mostly superior. Available information has for sure shifted their viewpoints a lot.

As for Crosseye, it seems that the opinion of the author is that they are still among the strongest. Apparently, in his eyes, the combination of Anne and Pray was something like a 1+1=5, where they heightened each other's powers more than simple addition, kinda like in History's Strongest where the Saving Fist can apparently synchronize their ki, and their fighting power explodes in size rather than just being added together when they go in as a combo. And despite this, both just barely won.

Yeah, thats why we should bother with scaling after we reached that point.

The Veelches hero's being absurdly strong didn't suprised me to be honest. Apperently one of the heroes rivaled Sion in pure sword skills. What makes me confused is how absurd the gap between individuals is. Like Leah currently (As in, english translations) slapped Dry silly and had no major power up bewteen Veelches and Knightfall, unlike Dry who went Almighty on everyone.

Its not like i dont understand the authors logic, Nakama power is a concept everywhere for example. But we cant take it seriously, as this would be a massive tier jump just for fighting in combination. At best we apply death of the author and at worst we have abstrously weird cases of PIS on our hand

I mean, I feel it is less nakama power and more literal power multiplication by working together in combination. Is not really an uncommon thing to see in fiction either, so I can see the rationale for it.

Though as it stands now, I am not entirely sure if there should really be any power difference between Dry as he first appears and later on. One point that seems to be brought up is that most of the Velchees Heroes are strong in 1v1, but their capacity for outright war or battle against many opponents is lower than many of the Cold Heroes, with Dry being the main one that defies this and Leah sort of through her weapons. It could be a case of Dry's feat of almost melting part of the planet scaling to him before, but not really needing to pull off anything on that level because he was focusing on a 1v1 with Fear.

Lenny as well. Later on she has a feat of breaking through the defense of one of the Cold Heroes with one of her techniques, and the character seems to have reputation as the one with the strongest defense by far among the heroes.

As for the other 2, all I know is that the spear dude seems to be on a similar level with the dual swording dude, who himself has something like "even Dry and Anne wouldn't want to enter into a range of 1 meter from him, exactly". Also, something something, he may have meet with Mother Knight.

Like i said, its not like i dont see it either. It just woudnt be a legitemate reasoning to explain massive tier jumps lol.

Really, i think only Anne actually struggles in an allout war. Pray can spam waves in AoE, Leah smashes in AoE and even Milo can easily tango with an army thanks to his fairies. The point with Dry is a fair point though, but its too speculative, especially considering how hard Dry got pummeled in his first duel with Fear without Mandala.

Huh? For what reason is Lenny fighting against a Cold Hero, they are in the same faction. You remember which hero it was?

Yeah, Yujin and Dio. Dio was the sword master iirc. Dio was apperently the second Sword Saint. And yeah, Mother Knight is still alive. And a loli.
