You had knowledge on the Ace Novel since those older threads just 1 year ago & even debunked the novel yourself; that's why it's confusing.

That thread specifically I started changing my opinion on it. After discussing it off site and looking at the official English scans and coming to the conclusion that skull is an accurate provider of information I changed my mind on it.
As for Whitebeard being the strongest I don't really have an opinion on it, in the ace novels for old whitebeard they suggest it's his pirating life that made him the world's strongest man. But if Whitebeard himself believes he was the strongest then fine, he can be the strongest in his prime if we assume he was accounting for everyone else.

Aha ok. Skull, the pirate fanboy guy who at the point of his statement wasn't on the New World before & gets his info from other people's here-say. Sengoku knows the Yonko, Big Mom has directly competed against WB, both have lots of expirience in the New World & own a spy network. What you're saying is that Skull is way more reliable than them?
He got his title before Roger's death according to his vivrecard & the way Skull explains this title makes more fitting for Roger than WB. His title goes hand-in-hand with power as his crew was called the strongest & Kaido inherits that title after his death. Why wouldn't he account for everyone else? And why does it have to be only his Prime, Marineford seems to refer to his sickness nerfing rather way more than his age.

All the other evidence skull provided we know to be true, so we can assume his sources are reliable.
Regarding Big Mom she wanted the giants to defeat the other Yonko but clearly this would be for their manpower and thus to defeat the armies of the other Yonko not the individual Yonko themselves, the whitebeard pirates were the strongest crew when they were alive so them being listed higher isn't a suprise.
What does his crew being the strongest have to do with Whitebeard the individual.

This means he can't never ever be wrong & more is reliable than Sengoku!? That he has the power to retcon all the statements even the times where the title was even used as a threat level.
