I probably shoulda worded it but what I meant to say more is that hydras can tank dozens of gauss rounds due to being the Zerg's shock troopers and the continues evolution of the Zerg to get stronger.

Marines definitely die against a full auto attack from a gauss fire yeah. The bullets are great piercing damage against tough metal armor.

I've been compiling stuff about the Marine

It's still a work in progress since I'm still combing through multiple sources to add abilities, as well as find a way to condense all that stuff into a easier to read format.

I've got the scans but haven't uploaded them yet

I love the work you did. Also Marines and virtually everything else in the SC survive a multitude of planets like the cold of Braxis and the heat of Char.

Keep the sound manipulation resistance too btw. They're implied to resist flashbangs via the visor statement and they actively fight in active war zones and don't get their ears blown off when near constant explosions and other such symptoms of war.

Hmm, that value coincides with the low end value of lava which is also 800 °C according to Wikipedia

Since in WoL & HotS we're shown that Lava kills most if not all units via in-game cutscenes (Devil's Playground & the Evolution Missions), I think they'd downscale from that value.

On other hand there is the now deleted Climate values of Char:

48 °C (118 °F) average
800°C (1470+ °F) peaks

It used to be on the SCII page but they've deleted along with other info such as Braxis' Climate Value (-60 °C)

IIRC the visor doesn't actually protect them against Flashbangs it just protects against bright lights not on the level of Flashbangs.

Hence the existence of the Optic Flare and Restoration abilities of Medics (From the BW Manual and 2015 Manual)

And the Cutscene in Wings of Liberty (Heir Apparent)

and they actively fight in active war sounds and don't get their ears blown off when near constant explosions and other such symptoms of war.

This is true since Marines can actually reduce the sensitivity of the External Audio Sensors

A lot of info got lost unfortunately with blizzard reworking the sc2 website. They're still canon though as they're still referenced in future works from time to time. The flashbang description in NCO describes that not even the polarized protect them from the sheer brightness of the newer generation flashbangs of the dominion. We also directly played in Braxis during SC1 in the first mission of the UED and the marines were fine against the snow for extended periods of time there. Both values of Char should be fine too as the planet is naturally volatile and varies in danger. The forcefield we get in NCO is also a reference to Stetmann's old research that the dominion continued after Stetmann turned into a whistle blower against the dominion and joined the raiders. The old website descriptions like Stetmann's character bio before it got deleted along with the old site is the original source of this.

This should be usable since it comes from the official sc1 site

"The barren, frozen wastelands of Braxis are some of the most unforgiving places in the sector. A thick layer of permafrost allows little in the way of plant life to thrive and brutal winter storms constantly rage across the plains. Even in such harsh conditions, however, the Ursadon thrives. This majestic beast is truly the lord of the tundra, having no natural enemies. Often found near ice floes, Ursadons are carnivorous creatures that hunt in the icy water for food. Instances of attacks on humans are thankfully rare, but the few recorded instances of an enraged Ursadon attack have always ended in tragedy. The Koprulu Wilderness Society recommends keeping a safe distance from these noble creatures while on Braxis, both for your own safety and that of the Ursadon."

During the winter it is very cold, dark, and windy with the average temperature around −28 °C (−18 °F), sometimes dipping as low as −50 °C (−58 °F) ~ Wikipedia: Tundra

I think Low-Mid should be fine. Zerg usually explicitly die from being obliterated or getting their hearts or brains smashed in my opinion.
OneBleachHurricane

IIRC it's explicitly mentioned Zerg die if their vital organs are destroyed hence why they can be killed by penetrating the brain and torso.

Low-Mid is Regen for Lost Limbs and Major Organ Damage excluding the Head

High-Low is Regen for Lost Wars, Fingers, Toes, and for Potentially Reattaching Limbs, as well as Minor Organ Damage

Entire heart destruction is something they won't recover from yeah. But they're mentioned to survive even in the verge of death. Characters like Morbius (both comic and movie) got low-mid for surviving a stab to the heart and neck. So personally I think it's possible. Also add in reactive power level for the Zerg. They evolve mid-battle. More practical applications of reactive evolution and adaptation from normal Zerg outside of primals are 90% done via outside influences via Abathur and Kerrigan. All Zerg have absorption too via consuming essence.

I think High 6-B is mostly gonna be a supporting feat given how integral 6-C and High 6-A currently are in the scaling chains for top tiers tbh. On the side note, Given they can sense if someone is psionic or not. You can argue extrasensory perception for Marines too via motion sensors as they have sort some capabilities in that. It's basically like the ingame radar for Master Chief in Halo. Toph from Avatar qualifies for it via her earth based radar senses.

High 6-B Ultralisks though via their Evolution Mission
