That's taking things too far- as long as they're generally comparable it's fine to use piercing weapons for that (at least as far as our wiki's very simplified system goes, you are correct in that it would take less effort to cut someone than to hurt them with strikes)- in my opinion it just gets very sketchy when you're scaling to a giant that you're otherwise never shown to be comparable to.

What is the conditional difference between a hundred-meter monster that fights a human and a Hulk that was pierced by Wolverine's claws?

I think size is not something we should rely on, because we have a monstrous number of human characters who scale to the level of the planet and are able to defeat giants without weapons. The case should clearly be based on strength, not on the size of the character

I mean, Wolverine has never been close to the Hulk, but he cuts him with his claws because they are literally sharp metal things. Drax has never shown that he is close to Kull Obsidian in strength, however, he pierces it with knives and scales.
Musashi Miyamoto is beaten by almost every fighter in the Bakiverse, but scales up as he cuts them with katanas.
I'm not talking about the Atomic Samurai at all.
The same applies to users of firearms.

I think it's easier for us to accept the case of the giant, given that in the original the emphasis is on arm strength and that before that he showed that he strangles four-meter white sharks with his bare hands and sinks ships.
