As a representative of JBW I will say...
It's okay.
But we think you should putting more emphasis on the VSBW-based meme side of it. Right now it's almost entirely just a straight profile of what the character does in the story, that's pretty boring, I could just read the original story and...
That there are only a small percentage of known perpetrator articles on SCP isn't important. The number of them was never the point. The fact that SCP can be abused by people in such a way at all is the problem. I posted this on Bambu's Discord server but he says it pretty much sums up the real...
I think the games could potentially be allowed only if they rely on self-contained scaling--AKA, only the materials in the game are used for scaling. Nothing directly from the SCP site. Now, if a basic SCP article is literally in the game (like Containment Breech) it can be used. But if that...
I talked with Seol, she thinks we could allow -J profiles on JBW because they're comedic, but everything else is a no because they don't fit with JBW and we don't want to be flooded with unfunny SCP stuff
I will reiterate, just for posterity, that JBW will not accept SCP profiles (with the possible exception of -J articles), as we only accept parody/comedic profiles.
No, we don't allow JBW to be used as a "backup" for serious profiles anymore. JBW is a joke profile wiki, we delete profiles that don't fit that category now. We aren't going to accept SCP profiles. They're gonna have to go into blogs or sandboxes.
Tbh I am not even logged in right now and I don't think this thread even warrants moving in the first place given it has a short OP and all of one reply.
It would honestly be easier to just make a new thread instead
That's for an ideal, uniform sphere. There's precise calculated MoIs for all the major planetary bodies as far as I know, and Earth's is 0.3307. This is because it is not only not a sphere (it's an "oblate spheroid"), it also has variable density.
Sorry, I've been really busy. It is the holiday season, and life is also hitting me kinda hard for the past two months with various tragedies (I don't want to talk about them).
Specifically, at and above the Kármán line, aircraft have to travel faster than orbital speed to produce lift. This is because the atmosphere is so rarified at this height it's more accurately described as "scattered gas molecules" given it no longer acts much like a fluid. 99.99997% of the...
That doesn't mean I have any authority or responsibility on the VSBW side of the forums. I don't have any interest in Supernatural or tier 2/1, and am kinda busy right now. Sorry.
I'm sorry, what do you personally think "irreversible effect on Earth's rotation" means here? In this context, where they're going out of their way to mention that potential consequence, in the wake of a catastrophic event?
Isn't that called the DC fallacy? It's like denying Superman's cosmic-level strength because half the planet doesn't vaporize when he punches Darkseid in the face full-strength in the middle of Metropolis.
Okay, given the tone of the passage, I feel like this is a little bit disingenuous. The passage is clearly trying to impress upon the reader that the effects would be massive and catastrophic. A 1% alteration of rotational energy is a fair low-ball for that. Even if you reduced that to 0.1%...
The North Pole ice caps are between 9-12 trillion square meters in area and 3-4 meters thick.
The average temperature is at most −31 °C.

Specific Heat of Water: 4178 J/(kg*°C)
Latent Heat of Fusion: 334,000 J/kg
Latent Heat of Vaporization: 2264705.7 J/kg

This is absolutely false—my calculators won't even let me use a value with that many decimal places, but even the maximum of "merely" 0.999999999999999c nets a Lorentz factor of over 22,369,621. That's a big enough jump to turn a feat that should be Small City level into Large Country level...
I'd agree with a limit of 99.6%, corresponding to a Lorentz factor of ~11.19, based on the upper limit for typical protonic galactic cosmic rays (10 GeV).
I wouldn't make a new key for any of them, I'd just list them in the same key like The Beast/The Den
I think The Razor/No Way Out would Accelerated Development and Transformation (Grows more blades the longer she fights and the more she kills). The Empty Cup is just the upper limit of her...
By the way, the advanced form of The Razor where you die a bunch of times is known as "No Way Out". The one where she turns into a titan of blades is known as "The Empty Cup".
Well, I don't think the Princess is being kept in via physical barriers anyway, I think the door is strong conceptually rather than anything else, and the Princess can only break out when the player character is convinced they could do so.
