Chapter is officially out now.
Something I didn't notice the first time I read the scans is that All For One dodged upwards to avoid being caught in between the two Flashfire Fists. I was wondering why more emphasis wasn't given to him tanking the flames, and now I see that he didn't tank them.
The Sea God is massive and the damage that Guts does to it is comparatively tiny compared to its full size from what I recall. Doubtful that this would be enough for him to scale to it.
I'm also not sure about applying Newton's Third Law to a magical scream causing a storm to appear.
I fully expect that this will lead to some upgrades because animations typically tends to be very generous when it's not low-budget slideshows, but if the anime ends up backing me on the sizes involved...
I agree with deletion though I would prefer for the pages to be archived somewhere, whether that be on FC/OC wiki or elsewhere if they won't take them as mentioned above.
All this requires is for Luffy to be massively faster than the projectiles; not for time to have stopped.
Again, all this requires is for Luffy to be faster than Lucci in this scene...
We'd need more substanstial evidence to suggest that Luffy is actually pausing and unpausing time.
Huh. Weird. I could've sworn Kurama came out as an Avatar but I must have misremembered. Still, I'm pretty sure we don't grant Self-Sustenance to the other Shinobi there.
Source for this? Because I'm pretty sure we've only seen Kurama surviving in airless conditions while released as an energy avatar. (And that's bit dubious, because everyone seemed to be fine on the Moon's surface)
Where's the proof that the Tailed Beasts themselves in their flesh-and-blood...
Same way we treat Finn not being able to break through a stone door without a Rock Drill in Season 9 despite us rating him as Large Planet level, I guess.
I don't see any statements on the status of canonicity on the Naruto website. It just looks like a collection of all the different Naruto books & comics, including gag manga like Rock Lee & Pals. That same section of the website that the Boruto movie novelization is in also has novelizations for...
Hey KT. A while back you introduced a discussion rule against using the Boruto Movie novelization. Someone is trying to get that rule removed here in case you're interested.
I'm pretty sure there was a discussion at some point to split the anime & manga continuities and split the profiles apart. Can't remember if that went through but it was definitely on the table.
I don't think it's that wild to believe that the novelization of the movie, not written by Kishimoto, would be retconned by the most up to date version of the continuity which is the anime and manga. Things which are totally exclusive to the novel should remain exclusive to the novel.
Problem is that virtually all the current supporting feats are far below where the characters would be rated with multipliers & powerscaling, or below the original two feats.
Closest we get to on-screen feats of destruction these days are Beerus and Champa casually kicking planets to rubble.
Not really when it comes to fiction... One of the calcs proposed earlier would have had Namek being over three times wider than our own Sun. If we can suspend our disbelief for that, why can't we suspend our disbelief for the size of the stars?
Frankly I think we'd need even more evidence that the Dragon Ball solar system is not supposed to mirror our own. They even go visit Jupiter just prior to the Namek Saga.
Eh, this seems like a real stretch as far as multipliers go.
You're assuming each of the "inverse rotations" is a whole multiplier, when that main Rasengan is being orbited by smaller Rasengans. Don't think you can stack them like that.
@Veronica Just learn to accept it and drop it for a long while. Maybe some new evidence or argument will come up in the future. In the meantime all you're ensuring is that more people will be set against you and there may be a rule created to prevent this discussion again.
