I'm going out of retirement for just this day and then going into retirement right afterward. This situation for the VS Battles Dragon Ball community has entirely impressed me. Gone above and beyond, that's for sure. Now then, for whoever wants a history lesson:
This entire train started with...
@Zamasu_Chan Oh, by closed off - I thought you meant it's spatially separated from the normal spatial area of the Living World.
"So it’s not like is actually contained in the lookout, more like a doorway to a different dimension. That’s why when closed, you can’t sense energy on the other...
@Zamasu_Chan But that's the thing. Yes, it's closed off, but doesn't the guides also state the World of the Kais is closed off as well from the Living World? So, the closing-off portion shouldn't in any way affect him being able to sense ki.
But, isn't the location itself technically within the...
@Zamasu_Chan This part:
"There's one thing I'd like to bring up, so I'm interested in this one being answered. If this whole thing has to do with being in separate Space-Times, how come Goku is able to teleport to both the World of Kais and the Afterlife at his own leisure, yet he can't even...
Must say, I wasn't expecting this sort of thread and would've missed it if it wasn't over the weekends.
So um, where to begin?
"Here Popo states that all of the past present and future are created in this room. The other realms, such as the afterlife, weren’t established yet and the other...
Uh... Reading DontTalk's response to my section has me rather confused. :/
I think he was somewhat missing a couple of my points. Maybe he didn't and I'm just tired... I haven't been getting much sleep at all. This wiki causes me to have so much stress. XD Honestly, I should probably just pick...
That whole thread in one big nutshell, and probably what's to come from Dragon ball Super
That's all folks. I don't even know what's going on anymore. To be honest
Not just yet. Let's see how Zamasu responds first.
However, what would be a better idea in my opinion would be to post this on Ultima's if you have him on Discord and see what he thinks (If he still wants to even talk about it). It's better to inform the main user and talk it over in private...
I don't know anything about Heroes. But, If it works basically the same as Super for Timelines, then I'd presume so if the logic for the argument itself is being understood correctly.
Since I don't have staff permission, and honestly, I don't want to bother anyone about asking permission. For whoever does have permission, can someone post this on the thread?
"Because the side issue of the thread is talking about the Macrocosm for each Universe, and since it's not really...
Someone can delete this comment if it isn't allowed. At this point, I don't know. Everyone just seems to be replying to this board. But, I would like to ask something, but in a moment;
@DontTalkDT "
A timeline is then (RxRxR)xR i.e. space x time.
Now, for multiple timelines, we need to operate...
Gentleman, gentleman. We must consider one undeniable fact of this wiki's standards. While one might be forced to say that this would be a 5-D timeline if one agrees each Universe is their own separate space-time, but! One could say that they should just remain 2-C, because destroying a 5-D...
Wait a second! I finally get Ultima argument. (Or at least, I think I do). So, I guess he means since a Universe has 3 spatial dimensions with 1 temporal dimension, and since the timeline itself is imbedded into multiple separate space-times (Meaning, there's an extra temporal dimension above...
Well, reading the current revision thread is certainly... something another.
I think it would've been better to make a thread on this whole Low 1-C thing for multiple imbedded Space-Time's. The current thread elaborating on the whole Low 2-C thing being destroying the past, present, and future...
Precisely. For that, that would need to be discussed for the main continuity Dragon ball and not this one. But, wasn't this topic going to go to another thread which was staff only? (Or at least, currently planning on doing so)?
Don't know much of anything about Heroes, so I don't have an...
"Being more difficult is one thing, but that wouldn't negate the present issue that distance is also factored in to Goku not being capable of traveling to other far away places in the same universe with IT, as he's repeatedly said has been the case, or part of the case, of why it wouldn't work."...
This is because the namekians have a very low ki signature, which makes it more difficult to sense them the further the way they're away. This is explained more clearly when Goku is trying to sense Vegeta when he was in his base in Super (Because Beerus planet is on the other side of the...
@Ultima_Reality "I don't see why the Room of Spirit and Time suddenly proves that the universes are each their own separate spacetime. "
It doesn't. The reason it was brought up was because people were trying to disprove the idea that the Universes had a separate Space-Time because the...
@King
That sums it up for the most part. For the second part, I'd elaborate on that IT is an ability that can go to places that're spatially disconnected, but when it comes to a dimension that has a separate Space-Time, he's unable to use it (Hyperbolic time chamber). Which is the only time...
A small note to make for someone to answer, because I'm exhausted and can barely think right now: With this argument in mind, that the time-ring was destroyed in the anime, and the two extra time rings that makes 6 that we see is just the Zamasu scenario from Beerus, and the other one is from...
@Ultima_Reality "I still have some gripes with saying he went to a random timeline that just happened to look like Trunks', given that scan's existence. If you explain this, I can concede."
Refer to CR post. Though, I'll elaborate a little more on it. Given the anime elaboration of this is...
@Zamasu_Chan Haha, well. I guess no one will ever know! Besides myself, of course. :)
But in all seriousness, I think an official cosmology blog for this and linked to the main Dragon Ball site would be a great idea. I proposed the idea to AKM, and I suppose he was ok with the idea. After this...
"Mostly because of how Zeno destroying Trunks' world (And killing Zamasu along with it) clearly didn't destroy past, present and future, seeing as how Whis still could go back in time to a period where it wasn't erased yet"
Thing is, Future Trunk's timeline isn't just, "the future" relative to...
Long time no see AKM-sama! Ha. Feels weird making this post without a title. But regarding the Cosmology thread, do you think it would be a good idea to make some type of 'official cosmology' blog towards DBS for how Vs battle wiki should apply it and then link it to the main profile? There's so...
Personally, I think it would be a little better to wait. But, I do think just a blog talking about the cosmology of how it should be applied here and linked to the main dragon ball profiles should be used. There's far too much confusion that has been happening regarding it.
"So making exceptions because why not now?"
They're showing the exact same thing, just one of them outright tells the same thing that was outright showed to both versions. I can say the exact same thing of what's happening for the anime for Timelines while ignoring the manga, but the manga...
"Different continuites being used to support each other isn't a thing, unless now BoG Goku of both manga and anime are both 3-A because "similar feat""
As I said, it can be used to elaborate something which was already shown to be the same for the anime. The BoG Goku feat are depicted somewhat...
We've been going at this discussion for over 3 years with the same points going back and forth over again 1000 times. Nothing seems to ever change about it. It can't hurt to contribute to one last topic on Vsbattles, I suppose?
"
It mixed Manga and Anime, which are counted as separate...
It matters what he uses as references. It's not a matter of, "intelligible" sources, it's a matter of what sources he uses which are considered reliable given their audience. This is how it's done in academia, and how it should be done everywhere when you're getting into these subjects.
I looked at his citations. Half of it looked to be to his own blog, one linked looked to be dead, two others were from Pop-science sources, then most others are referenced to Wikipedia - Which is not even suppose to be used as a secondary source.
Arxiv is the only source in there that i would...
No, because YouTube videos are not used as reliable sources for any academia subject. I'll only accept Textbook's or Peer-Reviewed paper's as references.
