About Pages deletions

Recently, I had a few of pages deleted with any reasons even stated in the edit summary boxes. There were no Content Revision Threads, Profile Deletion Requests Thread, valid Mediawiki deletion reasons or message wall reasoning at all. I believe there should be an official rule on the Advice to the staff of the VS Battles wiki page.

"Always list valid reasonings before deleting pages from a valid links thread or valid Mediawiki deletion reasons."

Could you provide more context on the pages themselves, who deleted them, and what was on them?

I know Matt deleted the Player Character planeswalker seemingly at random, so I sent him a message asking about it. Probably stuff like that.

We even agreed on keeping that on a seperate thread with the caveat that it needed massive revisions.

Anyways I'm fine with making people use the reasons section when they delete pages that aren't just obvious troll garbage. Ant's pretty good about this sort of thing, for example. Even a simple "low quality page" or thread link will do.

There were SMT pages, on the list of pages that I have created; scaling might be questionable since there were PIS in the games but deletions without reasonings at all extreme to me.

I assume they were of a very high tier?

Even if the scaling was shoddy as long as they weren't just troll/spam pages there should have been reasoning given when they were deleted.

There page were accepted in CRT from verse supporters. The problem in SMT is there is with boss orders which affect tiers, sometimes.

I can understand a CRT change to a better tiers but deletions looks unreasonable without reasonings.

I agree that we should usually post reasons for this, although nothing elaborate should be required. You can talk with the staff member who deleted your pages for explanations if you wish.
