According to Laus, a user of Soul Magic apostles don't have souls

It was indeed the same Hearst that Meiru had sealed away that came to stand next to Lelei. The injuries she’d suffered from Revival Reversal were completely gone.

Their complete lack of individuality is a proof of that. Soul is synonymous with self and mind

Evolution Magic is a branch of Ancient Magic specialise in interfering with all forms of "info" from fundamental info to knowledge and data. Therefor the apostle memories are info type 1.

So AE(Type 1-Knowledge; Apostles lack souls and individuality, and exist as a collective memory bank)
