Almost the month ago, a new installment (and Concord's killer) of Sony's current Japanese mascot series has been released for the PlayStation 5. A huge love letter to PlayStation's history from 30 years back and having platinumed both it and Astro's Playroom, I've decided to write a thread about the series itself (starting from 2013's The Playroom, it's VR sequel in 2016 and Rescue Mission).

Some of the subjects are, but not limited to:
  • Verse/profile creation
  • Talking about feats (mark in spoilers if it's about this particular game)
  • Discussing the series
  • Just have fun (under forum rules, that is)

Astro Bot is a good game.

So uhh, do we have sizes for Bots? Or do we scale them to the controllers and whatnot.
 
Hi, so we are doing a thread about Astro Bot I see, so what size should we use for the calcs, human sized or the small ones from the commercials?
 
I am genuinely curious what kinds of calcs we can nab for these games. Especially related to the final boss of the new game: not sure if it would fully scale or not, but really I just wanna see some numbers at this point.
 
And a respect thread weeks back as well, though Astro does have resistances like being frozen into a cube (Kratos/some enemy in Frozen Meal; merry Christmas Eve in any question!) and shocked (Thor/Cole) by other Bots.

Makes me wonder if those he can summon may retain exclusive abilities in their tabber (like Kat & Raven's gravikinesis, Sackboy's self-destruction/respawn, Polygon Man's regeneration and Raziel's Spectral Realm shift; character/item descriptions) on a profile. (already started drafting)

Okay, seems like we've sort of got a official source for the size/height (taller than Kirby; Top Trumps cards were licensed by Sony themselves).
