Alexia has Instinctive Action, which allows her to fight on reflexes and pure muscle memory, enabling her to act faster even when her speed is equal to her opponent’s (outside of techniques). Her sword style further enhances this “faster” feel due to reduced recoil.
Furthermore, if she is pushed too far, she will use her sister’s swordplay, which adds more complexity and strength to her attacks. This makes her moves harder to predict, increases their damage, and can even allow her to go from being weaker to slightly stronger than her opponent.
She is also able to predict movements and gauge Asuna Yuuki’s strength, which is comparable to her own, prompting her to switch to Iris’s swordplay more quickly.
Alexia can perform half-step movements and instantly parry attacks aimed at her vitals. She can also feign weakness, which might allow her to behead Asuna if Asuna is not careful (although she wouldn’t normally go that far—she might consider it if she realizes Asuna can regenerate).
Additionally, since Asuna has an HP bar, how much damage does she take against opponents who are comparable to her?
For now, I don’t see Asuna Yuuki landing hits easily, and LS in this fight mainly comes down to both being able to parry each other. Their LS difference isn’t significant enough to prevent Alexia from parrying her, so it’s largely a moot point.
