Downgrading the best MHS verse, Killer Peter

Not open for further replies.
As far as i can see, most people are agreeing with the downgrade including an admin.

So this thread should be concluded here ig and the verse should be downgraded to subsonic.

@BlackCat
According to LephyrTheRevanchist’s explanation, we need one more staff member’s approval for this to be accepted, and after it is approved, we must wait 24 hours.

However, if this thread is accepted, I will only remove the calculations from the Verse page. I will not touch their speed ratings in the profiles or other information yet, because I have plans for a major profile upgrade. So, I will revise everything at once after completing all the updates.

He also says that if he leaves the room, a bullet traveling at 400 m/s will hit him.

Because of this, shouldn’t we add a note that the characters should not exceed speeds above 400 m/s?
you still haven’t received an answer to this question, I will address it in detail in my next thread (which will thoroughly explain the speed of Killer Peter)

I mean if you're making additions to the profile apart from just downgrading them once the crt gets concluded, you'll need to make a thread yourself to get those additions aproved, no?

Yes, I do have plans to create a scaling revision thread soon (right now I’m just waiting for the calculations to stabilize, since several of them have not been accepted yet, such as Arthur Nando444’s calculation. So I’ll wait a bit longer).

I also plan to upgrade other abilities as well, so I will update everything at once.

However, if my thread ends up being delayed, I may take some time to downgrade their speed in the profiles first (so you don’t have to worry—their speed will definitely be reduced)

Which calculations?

Also, how this calc made it's way into the KP profile?

Like barely any calc could get more blatently wrong than this.

This calc uses 1px method and assumes that the knife only moved 1px when it CLEARLY MOVED WAYY MORE...114px to be exact.

I've literally pixel calculated it myself in the calc's comments. Ts calc should be removed immideatly.

In Chapter 126, the boss’s daughter stated that Skadi’s speed on the ice was 132 Km/h
Okay, I went back to check, and it is indeed 132 km/h. However, Lavi stated that this is “speed on ice,” which means it cannot be scaled to normal ground (I mean, if there are future calculations that result in Travel Speed higher than Subsonic).

Oh, I see. I just wanted to point out that Judas was surprised by Skadi’s speed, even though a speed of only 132 km/h doesn’t seem like it should be enough to surprise him. But thank you for your answer, and have a nice day.

What's been decided here?
MHS and HH are inconsistent with everything in the verse, so it's downgraded to Subsonic based on the arguments given by OP and previously discussed. Everyone agrees that HH and MHS should be removed from the profiles.

Okay, the MHS seems to be based on a flashy statement alone. That can probably go, provided the HHS ones are done. First one seems fine to remove. Can someone please link me the comment where the second HHS feat is discussed to be a hallucination?

Here. Also just a reminder that top tiers cannot dodge or even react to bullets of 400 m/s speed. So upon of it being hallucinations, it could also be arged to be an outlier.

I meant the discussion about it being a hallucination.

Depending on whether the feat itself is solid. The huge number of consistent anti-feats do create their own narrative, but I'd rather weigh up this featon its own merits before discarding it.

Oh it's discussed here.

The arguement was about that the sword had actually hit Yukia but later it was shown that it wasn't from his slashes exactly as he was just mindlessly swinging his swords in Kageo's pov(Yukia's companion) due to her hallucination scent.

Her perfume was applied before the fight had begun which puts people in hallucinations where they're js imagining things that are not real.

Also the verse is filled with hyperboles.

As the author of the calculation, I agree with that. I racked my brain trying to find a more coherent estimate, but apparently there's not much that can be done considering the knife, so I agree that it should be removed from the verse.

Wait, those slashes didn't actually happen?

Also, we see in the panel him rushing forward while the raindrops stay still, but with sequential art it's hard to tell whether they stayed still the whole time he moved or in general how far he moved in the time it took the raindrops to move. So that's really just based on the statement about the rain stopping, right?

Yeah all that is just for a statement that may have been spoken figuratively as the same technique has been used multiple times in the series but never anything had slowed down other times.

And yes the slashes didn't happen, he was just swinging his swords in the air and the statement itself wasn't made by the narrator but Simon himself, the same guy who was trying to attack.

So the feat is very unreliable imo.

Yeah, okay. That's probably fine then.

Sorry for dragging it out for answers. Anti-feats are often touchy because you get characters with half a dozen Tier 4, 3 or 2 feats and a couple dozen Tier 7, 6 and 5 feats who randomly have ridiculous Tier 9 anti-feats that clash with even the most conservative estimates of the character. I also don't think feats should usually get dismissed as outlier data just based on being higher. However, in this case, those seem to just be hyperbolic statements with some highly questionable context, which clash with a huge number of consistent subsonic to supersonic level feats.

So yeah, this seems fine.

Thanks for eval👍.

Ig the thread can now finnally get concluded and the verse should get downgraded to subsonic+.

Ts took a while but ig it's finnally done, we'll need to wait for 48 more hours i suppose.

No problem, sorry for the delay.

The 48 hour grace period is since the start of the thread, not since the required number of votes are cast.

You can apply everything now, actually

Alright then, but since black cat said he'll make the changes so ig I'll wait for his response.

@BlackCat
As I mentioned yesterday (according to my local time), I can now remove it from the Verse page. As for the profiles, I will revise them all at once after everything is completed.

Also just a reminder that top tiers cannot dodge or even react to bullets of 400 m/s speed
I will address this in detail in my next thread, but for now, please understand that this feat does not make the character slower than 400 m/s (in terms of Travel Speed)
