Dragalia Lost Discussion Thread

I experienced the last of the story on the last night, and I gotta say, how fittingly ironic considering the main moral of the story in the end.

Anyway, I'm in full agreement with how the end-game bosses scale up. At least 2-B, likely 2-A is pretty good for me.

I know it's been years since this thread was talked in but with the final chapters released I think Chronos Nyx should be upgraded to uni since he did cause the primal midgardsormr to struggle, since the primal dragons should scale to the black bahamut since Mym beat it.

Should Midgardsormr be upgraded to multi since he and Euden both fought Xenos in the final fight?
Wait after looking back at the actual cutscene for the final battle, I could be misinterpreting but... DID MIDS FIGHT XENOS WITH EUDEN IN  BASE FORM????

Like they went out of their way to show when they turn into their primal states in the cutscenes and when they return to normal, but that doesn't happen here.

I've been retreading Dragalia Lost to get some more insight, could the realm of the dead and Amaterasu's parallel world add anything to the cosmology?

Ok I think I found something to back up uni+ Chronos Nyx. In the Princess Connect event (something that seems to be cannon), The Aether takes the shape of an entity that's strong enough to destroy the world, and the form it takes when it absorbed memories was big boy Chronos Nyx.

Ok did a rough calc for Chronos Nyx zipping out of his galaxy nuke and it came up to around 55.8 billion times the speed of light.
Yowza.
I feel like the primals and the other high tiers should scale to that, right?

Also this is my placements for the overall scaling:

Multi+: Xenos, True Bahamut, Euden

Multi: Morsayati, Elysium, Midgardsormr (placed here cuz he did face off against Xenos with Euden alone, but I don't think he scales fully. Although in the cutscene he faced off against him in base form but I think that's an oversight since it showed his primal state in the final hit.)

Uni+: Main cast, Black Bahamut, the other four primal dragons, Chronos Nyx (possibly multi due to going toe to toe with Mids but I put him here to be on the safe side), The Auspexes, and I'd probably put Beren here too.

Everyone else to be planetary-large planetary and below.

Wyt?

Great.

There is one particular feat that stood out to me, Gatov in the finale. When he was facing down the versions of foes that destroyed their world and he got punched by one of them he didn't even flinch! Even with the visual novel style Dragalia Lost still used sound effects, visual effects, and other movements to showcase what an attack did and how the character reacted to it. Gatov? Stiff as a ******* board. No movement or visual or sound to imply he parried it or blocked it or something no just stood there and TANKED IT!

Hey so like I just saw the calc for Yoru's (chainsaw man character) moon spear thing, and the five second interpretation got to relatavistic. Didn't our calc for Ifrit with the interpretation of it taking five seconds just get to MHS+?

Ok have been doing some rereading and it seems like the primal greatwyrms in fact do  not have the power to destroy the worlds made by the power of creation... dang.

Although I did find something fascinating: The Origin sealed Xenos away in a space beyond all worlds. That could be something.

Ok so the black bahamut destroyed the remnants of the destroyed worlds in the stronghold in the final chapter, could this be a low multi feat?

Wait could Dragalia potentially get to infinite speeds from the Xenos stuff and Morsayati nuke???

Edit: ok just asked someone, Xenos cacoon yes, Morsayati nuke probably not.

Ok just asked someone else: the Xenos cacoon thing yes, the Morsayati thing no... but idk how to calc that.

Ok small correction I think I and others have made: the space between worlds and the otherworld are two different things. The Otherworld, also known as the Space Beyond Worlds, is where Xenos was trapped in.

Reread Nobunaga's story, a way to get into the parallel world is via otherworld shards. It also makes it impossible for the soulbound soul pacts of the wyrmclan leaders to work. It  is another dimension.
