Important: About the upcoming replacement forum

The feature looks good to me; it will obviously take time to get used to, but it'll be fine.

It looks like almost all of the old functions will remain, it's just a matter of getting used to the filter system.

In addition, reported threads can be filtered out for quick review, which ought to be helpful for Discussion Mods, Admins, and Bureaucrats.

I figured out how to edit the discussion categories. I had to shorten the "and" to an "&" for two of the names of our sub-forums to get enough room though.

Also, we must be extremely careful not to use the "delete all posts" button for anything except extreme trolls. It would be disastrous if thousands of constructive edits are suddenly removed from productive members, especially the staff.

Surely there's a way to rollback that?

Not for ourselves, I think, but I checked with Eva Niroomand, and she told me that Wikia's staff can do it if we ask them to.

I would however stick with that rule above as the Wikia could take an unknown amount of time to check a deleted thread for rollback.

Yes. I have added it to the staff Advice page. Perhaps I should add a regular rule about it as well.
