The small wires in a battery operated device and the huge wires at a power station both work via current travelling through wires, but one will only give you a small jolt while the other will do a whole lot more. The same mechanics doesn't automatically mean the same power output.

And it's clear that they aren't like IRL plasma cutters or anything adjacent to a blowtorch, at all!

We're going by the temperature of plasma itself. Just because they're not exactly the same doesn't mean we can assume the temperature is thousands of times higher.

Okay I get what is being asked now, of course the basic logic would be that since IRL Tokamaks generate those kinds of temperatures due to the mechanisms involved, wouldn't lightsabers generate those same temperatures due to having similar mechanisms?
