Homelander doesnt use flight in character. Hes gonna try to tear mario apart as soon as the battle starts. He’ll likely try to heat vision mario and since homelander has not only better range but also lifting strength,
However

Mario does have a decent hand to hand combat experience according to his profile. And possibly a stamina advantage, since he trained for a day without any breaks, this would include jumping running falling into water over possibly hundreds of times. Mario since he has the powerstar and mushroom to make him a tiny bit stronger. Mario actually had to fight someone and was given a challenge, he’s an actual person while homelander has only been hit with people who cant be mixing it up with power ups. His fights are always straight forward. Voting Mario which is honestly surprising
