Sky High High Hypersonic speed and Minor Revisions

Saw this thread so I thought I’d do some things too

Calculations

AP ratings
Although there are no tier changes, the new calculation for Will pushing Sky High to the clouds is over 3x and 20x the current AP and lifting strength ratings respectively

Island level feat was considered too vague, so just sticking with updating the Large Town level rating
Speed
Jetstream flying to Italy got Hypersonic+, but since she can achieve escape velocity, the verse should get High Hypersonic speed under Earth's atmosphere
Her Massively Hypersonic speed should be clarified as explicitly SPACE FLIGHT as well

Speed ratings should be change:
High Hypersonic (Stated to have supersonic flight and is directly compared to fighter jets, has flown from Italy to California to deliver fresh pizza, can reach escape velocity), up to Massively Hypersonic flight speed in space (Can fly from the Earth to the Moon in 23 minutes)

Will should get the following resistances added to his profile
Resistance to Sound Manipulation (Will can survive getting directly hit by Coach Boomer’s sonic booms, which are stated to be loud enough to be audible from Australia alongside shattering glass), and to Electricity Manipulation (Withstood getting shocked multiple times by Royal Pain's armor and getting sent into an electric sign, causing it to spark out)

Might want to post this in the Content Revision Promotion Thread if no staff members are seeing this.

I will say, why exactly does Will scale to the Principle's feat? It's been over a decade since I've seen the movie so I cannot recall anything specific.

The Commander is stated to be nigh indestructible alongside being voted Hero of the Year and most athletic in his school year, so his durability should scale to Principal Power's feat.

Will is also just outright stated to have the best superpowers so he should scale.

Royal Pain stated herself as the most powerful superbeing ever to walk the halls of Sky High, which should make her comparable to Principal Power's feat.

Will having the best superpower doesn't mean he's stronger than the Principal, it could mean it's the most useful in being a hero.

That's very weak evidence, in fact I don't considered it as anything.

The Commander and Royal Pain's statement sounds better, though self statements are suspicious, but can you produce actual scans of that so it can be verified?

Using it as scaling evidence is incredibly weak imo.

Yeah, but his super power is only labeled as superstrength (despite having the ability to fly), which means his super strength > Principal Power's commet form

I was under the assumption that since we aren't actually shown the feat or know how it was performed it would be relegated as only a likely rating
 
As the one who downgraded things:

I’m fine with the resistances and the speed is pretty blatant.

AP though, I agree with Qaw. Way too vague a feat, it’s very likely she could have done it over time. Her comet form is literally turning herself into a glowing ball, so for her to make the Grand Canyon, she would have to slam into it really hard or drilled through to make it. And given her speed isn’t exactly impressive in that form, from what we’ve seen, idk if she could have just smacked into it and made it. How and why would that have happened in the first place? Was she fighting? Accidentally?

The feat is way too unknown for a concrete rating imo. All it says is “made the Grand Canyon” with nothing about how. Saying she slammed into it like a meteor is just as unfounded as saying she drilled through it.
 
Ok I crossed out Principal Power's feat, so the verse will just get a slight upgrade to Large Town level+

Large Town level+ starts at 550 Kilotons, the feat is only 527 Kilotons.

Note: Are the two Staff Members who commented fine with the new calculation that puts Will higher up in High 7-C and Class G?
 
Can't really comment on the calc, as it isn't my job to do that.

If you're asking on if I can accept it the new tier, sure.
 
Pointing this out but

Will literally couldn't lift the school as it was falling, only when the wire was cut and the zero gravity systems were back online did it actually stop it and fly/jump up with it

At the last second before the systems came on, Will was still struggling against the weight but could lift it
