Adam's Holy Beam could help him out here, but there's only an 1 times difference between his Beam's temperature and Mark's temp. resistance (3,500°C VS 2700°C) which isn't a big enough of a gap for Adam in order to melt Mark yet.

Adam didn’t just get low-diffed, he had no damn chance. Stat gap aside, Mark is also a bit more skilled(?). And like Flowerguy said, he can survive Adam’s beam, except his resistance should be like 3800C. Gabe victim straight up gets beaten with no way to resist.

1. Soul destruction only occurs upon the target's death.
2. The intangibility only applies to his astral projection, not Adam himself. He's physically there and it's character for him to confront his opponents directly.
