I do wonder if Stick Teddy's dura neg would work on Mettaton, lad is a ghost possessing a robot
But aside from that, monsters are used to danmaku-based attacks, so I guess this depends on how good Stick Teddy danmaku is

It's almost completely in one direction, but it fires many projectiles very quickly. ST is also very good at aiming it.

Think Mettaton wins more often than not. His higher AP and Dura, Danmaku and Experience with Teddy's fighting style probably nets him the win

Plus, Mettaton being able to erase magic projectiles (Which include sound-based attacks) would really help him against Teddy's danmaku

Regular monster experience really, monsters express themselves with danmaku and their "attacks" are akin to greeting cards (This includes Woshua spiraling patterns of dozens water-drop bullets or Vulkin firing dozens of bolts at a wide angle)
MTT has several ways to hinder his opponent's mobility, so it's gonna be hard for Teddy to dodge his danmaku, especially since his danmaku is pretty overwhelming
