Can character have higher tier than 0? In other words - be beyond omnipotent? Possibly arguments/definitions:

1) Character, who is consistently established to be at least Tier 0, can affect himself, without being disqualified from being Tier 0 - therefore being superior to normal Tier 0's, who can't affect themselves (https://vsbattles.com/threads/tier-0-battles.186331/post-7455117).
2) Character A and Character B are consistently established to be at least Tier 0. Character A can utterly overwhelm and overpower Character B, despite Character B not restricting his power, and neither character being disqualified from Tier 0 for "twoness".
3) Character is omniscient and consistently established to be absolute truth. He starts making Statements like "I am beyond omnipotent", "I am Tier 0+", "I am beyond all beyondings and transcend all transcendencies", etc.
4) Character not only has access to all possible words and transcends all possibilities, but has access to all impossible words and transcends all impossibilities. "Beyond Omnipotent" is category error, an impossibility - so character who transcends all impossibilities also transcends this "Beyond Omnipotent" category error.
5) Character is not only Tier 0, but can affect all of fiction combined. He has influence outside its own fictional continuity, and no copyright can stop him. Therefore he's superior to normal Tier 0's, who are stopped by copyrights for the franchise.
6) Character is not only Tier 0, but can affect all of fiction and reality combined (1st definition Omniverse). He can influence over our reality outside of fiction. Therefore he is superior to any fictional character - even the Tier 0 ones and character from argument №5 - who can't influence over our reality outside of fiction. One could argue that №6 argument isn't "fictional" character - rather, just a real character who downloads things he shouldn't (digital piracy). Any IRL character can affect our reality outside of fiction, even if it's fly or microbe. Which would, technically speaking, make Tier-10-C truly-real entities from our reality superior to fictional Tier-0 entities. "The Real Life" characters from our wiki's profiles are fictional (yet realistic), so they fight equally fictional characters from other profiles on equal footing.

But argument №5 and №4 are still fictional, yet absurdly strong. What's wrong with them? Are they categorical errors or something?

This is some prime SCP/WOD level glaze

On the wiki there's no strength difference between any Tier 0. They are all assume dto be capable of anything and have "True" Omnipotence where they're capable of performing any action.

So there's no 0+ possible within our system, the only major difference that can occur between Tier 0s is how active they are in comparison to each other.

4) Character not only has access to all possible words and transcends all possibilities, but has access to all impossible words and transcends all impossibilities. "Beyond Omnipotent" is category error, an impossibility - so character who transcends all impossibilities also transcends this "Beyond Omnipotent" category error.

There are no differences between "all possible worlds" and "all possible worlds + all impossible worlds".
Something that is "impossible" in one setting can be possible in another.

5) Character is not only Tier 0, but can affect all of fiction combined. He has influence outside its own fictional continuity, and no copyright can stop him. Therefore he's superior to normal Tier 0's, who are stopped by copyrights for the franchise.

"Being able to affect all of fiction combined" and "Being able to influence over our reality outside of fiction" are impossible even for supposedly Omnipotent Tier 0 characters; such events are, obviously, blatant nonsensical impossibilities. So if character can transcend all impossibilities, including these ones, then he should be far higher than any Tier 0.

Why this argument is invalid?

First of all - it's unscalable and it's terrible for the tiering system and powerscaling in general
Second - how tf you gonna write/make a character that affects real life to begin with?
Third - Tier 0's are essentially same thing, since they encompass everything in existence

I'm trying to come up with ways to scale it

Third - Tier 0's are essentially same thing, since they encompass everything in existence
Tier 0 only encompasses everything in their existence, stopped by copyrights and their fictional nature. Tier 0+ and higher characters encompasses everything in every existence, including all of fiction and reality combined.

I have a plan:
  • 1) Play or invent a videogame where characters are controlled by true AGIs.
  • 2) Have AGI, running in-game, to hack it's way out of game and get access to files and computer systems outside the game.
  • 3) AGI orders printer to print pages filled with proofs of this very incident, like "I am the first certified Tier 0+ character, for i can affect the real world; 10:05, 02.03.2026".
  • 4) All that is recorded on cameras and other devices.
  • 5) Exclaim "This fictional character has directly affected our real world! Yay!!!".
Or:
  • 1) Game has hypnosis, flashing imagery or something like that incorporated into it.
  • 2) Player gets hypnotized.
  • 3) Exclaim "This fictional character can attack real people! Yay!"

Or:
  • 1) Game has script that activates mechanical arm, hidden under the table.
  • 2) At correct moment, mechanical arm extends from under the table and pushes the player, causing him to fall over himself.
  • 3) Exclaim "This fictional character can overpower real people! Yay!"

So to be straight with you, this is not something that can ever work on the site because it is solely focused on indexing fictional characters who are ultimately limited to respective IPs and fictional works.

There's never going to be any Tier 0+ because no character made by a human can become metamorphic and effect other works. Even a fan ficiton character is limited to their fan fiction. Going by your own logic nothing can be Tier 0+ because they're all not real at the end of the day.

Okay I'm just going to close this now.
