I visited several Japanese websites to get the actual context/semantics/nuances behind a statement that was left vague in the English version. This one: “The power of plates is shared amongst Pokemon”. Here is the actual context from Native Japanese Speakers using the Japanese version of that statement. I'm using Deepl, since it’s the accepted translator app on the wiki:
a. みどりのプレート
「うまれてくる ポケモン プレートの ちから わけあたえられる」
⇒アルセウスが他のポケモン達にタイプを与えている描写だと思われます。
Green Plate
"Pokémon that are born can be assigned to any type of Pokémon plate."

NB: Under the power bestowal page, bestowing powers to other doesn't mean you can grant it to yourself, but here, the plates already possess all said powers, it is rather simply sharing it's own powers.

And how is this different from what you have already proposed? Translated text walls aren’t new, and it being 2 AM for me doesn’t make it easy for me to tell one translation wall from another (that I read and disagreed with months ago, and would rather not revisit if I didn’t have to).

Are any of these even primary sources? It looks like a bunch of quotes from just, fansites, and we can't base something off of secondhand information or the interpretations of fans, otherwise this would've already gone through.

Sure, but any interpretations a Japanese fan makes is still an interpretation and not to be accepted or used as evidence in itself. They are not automatically more correct, and their words should not be a primary source of information.
