Why is the Submarine High 8-C in dura?

Unexplained High 8-C durability.
Why?
Like 8-A is at least somewhat explained but this one ain't. What's up with that?

Technically, total destruction shouldn't even be a durability rating, that's like giving humans 9-B durability via "Energy required to shatter their entire skeleton.

Yeah that's also an issue. I want to scale a character to the durability since they seemingly took out a US nuclear Submarine and i don't even know what to do here

Yeah, it should prolly be downgraded to the strongest attacks it can survive without any catastrophic hull failure.

Anyways all i could find out was that the sub can be at 240 meters depth where the pressure is 2346.65 kPa or 340,2585327 psi

The reinforced solid steel should still give it Wall level at minimum, but like many large vehicles, it's durability is more pressure based or due to how many joules per area since there do exist Wall level attacks that would damage a submarine more than certain 8-C attacks. But If it can withstand crashing without taking anything beyond minimal damage, it could just be consistent with ramming strength. Though not sure how ramming feats have faired for Submarines.
