BAN-KAI! Bleach General Discussion

I don't see how reprimanding Arcker for telling Damage to blow him is "jumping Arcker" ngl, like it doesn't take a lot of thought to realize there is no justification for that. It'd be different if Arcker and Damage had a past of being good pals who tug each others' chains like that, but the only past is Arcker antagonizing Damage over power scaling disagreements.

I don't think anyone's saying staff was "jumping Arcker", we were just a little surprised that they responded so quick.
 
Arc, this whole like moral high ground shit is patronizing as **** dude. Like, this is language people would use with their friends, I get that doesn"t apply tp damage or whatever, but the intent is obvious.

I tug everyone's chain, not to pat myself on the back, but that's what you, and everyone who knows me here would say. I fully explained why I said it and changed it within 5 minutes because I realized I could word it less crudely. Like it"s very clearly a joke not meant to seriously antagonize him>

I condemn Arcker's statements, and I stand with damage here. The community of BLEACH supporters should stand together and condemn his behavior too, as it is inappropriate and uncalled for. Damage3245 is a productive member of our community, and we should all treat each other with respect.

The intent was not obvious. Telling someone who've you been banned for antagonizing in the past to blow you is not at all "obviously playful". The only reason anyone knows it's supposed to be a joke is because you explained yourself in thread. Just because in the moment you thought the intent was obvious, does not mean everyone else will assume the same intent.

"It's just how I am" is not justification, it's rationalization. That doesn't make it right. I know it's how you are, cuz I've told you to chill out in the past when things got heated between you and Damage. Trust me I know, because I was the same way in like 2020. But you can be like that, and realize that telling people to "suck your dick" isn't the best way to have friendly banter. Especially with someone who, strictly observing past interactions, you aren't exactly friendly with. Which I do genuinely think you realize, cuz you found a way to get your joke across in a way that is much more friendly/"yank your chain" kind of way. So, I know you can go about things in a proper way, but here you didn't, and I shouldn't have to explain why that just wasn't the move man.
