Going by Death Battle's rules of using characters at their strongest, I feel like Ash will use his generation aces.

Wouldn't Ash's strongest Pokemon just be his most recent team? Feel like they're the only Pokemon that really matter.

It's because he beat Cynthia and Leon. Cynthia specifically has fought Palkia and her Garchomp even canceled out Spatial Rend once while Leon is just outright stated to be the best of the best bar none until Ash beat him.

Masters EX's weird semi-canon status might come into play, or at least black box'd, since it's a 'What If?' game but there's statements that they try to make sure everything is still canon "possible". Game has a lot of Creation Trio and other Legendary Pokemon tomfoolery.

Game also gives us actual Professor Oak battles where he skill stomps an E4 member and gets to team up with Mew, so screw it, can we get a good Professor Oak MU?

Didn't Jonouchi survive a direct hit from Ra before his body gave out, during a shadow game? That would probably make Yugi a brick wall because of the weird verse mechanics of DM.

This site's like 15 years behind in terms of DC scaling, so no, Alien X isn't stronger. He never was. In fact, I bet every cent I have he never will be. As always the DC herald BLINKS and shatters his enemy's puny verse on accident.
