I dont need to hear them im well aware of both
Then say that right off the bat
Its more interesting to have Dante fool around till he gets serious, while Kratos take it serious till is a moment he unleashes himself eventually, over Kratos being reminded Asura is like his younger self from before
Must be a preference then. With how story focused latest Death Battles have been, I find the latter of the two more compelling. Especially since both home series are very story heavy. (Asura's Wrath should have been an anime, it would have boomed more in popularity

)
Only casuals which for the most part was due to asura being an anime god of war
should that not reinforce the connections even more? And what's so bad about casuals liking it, it just shows they have good taste.
Only times i seen it talked are just Matt foing over what happened with the game back then for capcom and a channel who reacts to death battle top recently playing it, other then that not much besides vs community
In recent years people like ImDontai and MoistCritical have played through the entire game (2023 and 2022 respectively), and to rep a lesser known cool channel, Bumbles McFumbles made an entire video on it as well just a couple of weeks ago (they're funny).
Also is Matt the dude from that "What Happened" series?
Both were up close punching or h2h fighters, Kratos has weapons, Asura not, Dante can fight in both and shown it
Kratos main weapons are close up, which Asura can fight against with his fists, and the ranged weapons can be fought with his blasts. It doesn't have to be all too complicated.
You cant do both without affecting the overall narrative or we gonna believe guns or fall damage disproves characters that have clear feats above that just cuz its threatening them?...plus even gow devs went over how gameplay isnt reflecting kratos power which should be obvious, you want have playing something a challenge too, not the character one shotting everything just to appeal on the visuals or lore
Or, you know, they don't have to be one shot? They can still have these mighty or close fights with impressive feats. And you can definitely do both and have it not affect the narrative.
also we aaaaall know that gravity and guns bypass normal logic, just look at the SoulsBorne series yohoho
A game which as they put it, was a cinematic anime game, with gameplay being QTE or mashing overall, visually speaking without taking vs debating and guessing a level, it would be planet busting from them, higher levels comes from guides or calcs with something in mind when doing measurements
yes, cinematic anime game, where these feats happen in cutscenes. You can have cutscenes to show this stuff, it's that simple.
And I'm just going to say it, the beat em up and on rail shooting sections were still fun as hell, love the gameplay.
For all that spectacle it didnt sell well for capcom to do a sequel or put asura into anything outside his game, besides just one costume for Street Fighter 5 and thats about it
This is just going over the success of the game now. Yeah, it's a shame that it didn't get any follow up content (but it did get a manga so that was neat). Oh how I wish to see how Papa Asura took down that meteor falling down onto the city.
Its absurd when tiktok or youtubers use fancy words and irl religion stuff to argue huge levels not true
Well yeah, that's tiktok and YouTube shorts scaling, a bit dumb to pay those any mind at all in the first place.
