As anyone who’s looked into the cosmology on the wiki will know, this moment here is pretty important for how a lot of things are structured:

“Wait, I thought the universe was everything” is used as support for places like the Null Void, Legerdomain or Dimension 12 to be part of the universe. This is a fair assessment to make considering the other bits of evidence shown in the blog, at least as far as I’m aware. However what happens if you take this statement to its logical extreme?

The wiki currently also uses that infamous “only 26 [dimensions] that matter” quote from the Cosmic Mom in regards to the cosmology. Now what’s extremely notable about this is the fact that this clip comes from Alien Force (the second series), while the previous clip comes from Ultimate Alien (the third series). Since we’re already using the UA statement to make multiple different dimensions a part of the universe, shouldn’t we also use it to make the 26 dimensions a part of the universe as well?

Now I know that some of you are probably thinking “isn’t this a pretty massive upgrade to make just from this one statement?”, and to an extent I agree. However consider that the UA statement is being used to partially justify many different places as being a part of the universe. Sure this statement may not be the only reason, but the existence of other evidence only furthers this statement’s validity. If we’re going to use it to apply every single implication except this one, then it kinda feels like a choosing beggars situation.

Again, using this argument feels odd to me as well. However with how the statement is currently used I feel we kinda have to, right? And no, I’m totally not bringing this up so I can have 1-B Eon
  • Waiter! Waiter! More Ben 10 upgrades please! (Agree): @Pepsimanslover_69 (With universe having 26 dimensions)
  • Mr. Electric, send her to the scolding iron gates of Hell and have her damned! (Disagree): @Pepsimanslover_69 (With dimensions being significant in size)
  • Do you think God stays up in heaven because he too fears what he has created? (Neutral): @BlastX, @Hellformer, @OMNIVERSAL-KING (leaning towards agreeing)

Nice pfp change, I only just noticed

That said, the premise isn't entirely implausible. Iirc Marvel has a High 1-B universe. Gonna hold my vote for now.

I'm honestly Neutral on cosmological upgrades considering how flawed the current Ben 10 cosmology model is. I have my own plans to revise and upgrade it so yeah.

Currently nutral (leaning towards agreeing)
It's just tooooo confusing

I agree, but I don't see why this would make a universe 1-B. From my memory, the reason 1-B passed was because "the omniverse extends infinitely in every direction" but that would only go for the omniverse.

The universe doesn't have that statement so I don't see why we would consider these dimensions to be significant enough to be tiered.

I was under the impression that that was changed in a later CRT and higher dimensions in Ben 10 were automatically significant in general, though maybe I’m wrong. If I am wrong then yeah, I suppose this wouldn’t change the tiering.

They are, but only to the omniverse if I remember correctly.

Thinking about it a bit, if I’m remembering right they were initially considered to be possibly significant for dimensions aside from the Omniverse. It’s partly why top tiers had the “2-A, possibly 1-B” rating, and higher dimensional beings like the Contumelia were actually also meant to get a “possibly Low 1-C” rating from them being significant in size (the profiles were never updated though lol). While I can’t remember if things changed with the solid 1-B upgrade thread, I think this statement would still at least give us a “2-A, possibly 1-B” universe. Tbh a possibly or likely rating would probably sit better in the minds of most of us anyway due to how relatively lacking the reasoning is

I'd honestly suggest to leave this for now.
Also check cord for knowing my actual cosmology revision

Honestly I just through this out since I needed a distraction from life stuff and figured “hey, this’d be fun”. I don’t really care if it goes anywhere or not. I don’t think there’s any harm in leaving it up though.

Just remembered this CRT, and I’m pretty sure it’s redundant now since the Cosmology revision ended up adding basically this as a likely rating. Which Wiki Management thread should I go to to get this closed?
