Also is the debate advancing? I also see more people meming about how long the match is than people who argue and I highly doubt new stuff is being discussed that haven't on the prior 15 pages

Well I can't speak for everyone, but I've been seeing new angles at least.

It hasn't grown uncivil or anything, so I don't see a reason to shut down the discussion right now regardless if otherwise everyone there is okay with continuing to talk about it.
