Dennys wants an interview tomorrow. I suppose, but it's so alarming how not even 5 minutes after i submit my application and resume, they email me going "yo wanna schedule an interview" like huhhhhhhhh something aint right but sure. I know y'all might not care, but whenever I see Mario and Sonic fans arguing on Twitter I always hit the biggest eye roll. It's so damn boring and also just plain annoying especially since both sides have massive egos for no reason (and this is coming from someone who LOOOVES Mario and Sonic, but especially Sonic due to it's characters and lore).
I won't get into it because tbh this tweet says every thing I want to say, but, oh my GOD is it obnoxious to see.

(Also turns out barbecue and barbeque are both correct spellings, etymology and linguistics be wack... though then again taxonomy and biological naming is wackier at times so eh.)

This is what happens when a gooner author falls in love with their character in the story where the MC is trying to make that character his girlfriend. The author will not allow the girl they're in love with, even in the fiction they're creating, to become someone else's girlfriend. I honestly could not believe it, but 10/10 goonering.

Real shit, played it due to my laptop not strong enough to play other heavy games.
Combat is very hard IMO, unlike turn-based BG3. The plot is good but not masterpiece, the companions have good connection to the player character, quests are honestly banger especially the one where you clear a castle from bunch of monsters and ******* iron golems that resist almost everything, then received the castle itself as the rewards, also there the ****** up circus quest, all quests have more than three outcomes which makes me look up to the guide.
You can also import your character from BG1 to BG2.
It is also the game where Baldur actually exists, I've never heard Baldur existing in BG3 as far as I've heard.

He's still "significant" to the story of BG3 but in a really bad way. They retconned a lot about him just for a shitty, unneeded plot twist that reveals The Emperor was actually Balduran after he had a mindflayer tadpole forced in him. It ***** up the timeline as well, Act 3 really was a slog compared to the first two acts.

Still puts into perspective how much more time I need to put in the forum welp, I'm still only in the triple digits/hundreds... and I've seen people trying to make their comments and likes the same number and taking photos and sharing on Discord when they manage that lel. (Hope I actually contributed to the community in the relatively short time I've been here... ironically though I have enjoyed watching the powerscaling community for a few years in the 2010s before actively taking part in the 2020s but then again I'd assume quite a few people also had similar experiences of joining like through seeing online Internet debates in places like ComicVine or SpaceBattles or stuff like Reddit respect threads and Youtube animations including Death Battle so in a sense we're not alone.)

I don’t think it helps that act 3 has 1-2 quests from literally every companion plus other important quests so if you want to do all of it then it’s practically double something like act 2. Though even with that I’d still say act 2 is the worst act imo

Act 2 was definitely boring, but Ketheric and the scene where you let Shadowheart make her own decision regarding the Nightsong more than make up for it. Then again I'm always a sucker for the "incredible villain that's missing just one ingredient from becoming the main bad guy" trope, whatever you wanna call it. In my first playthrough I didn't even know he had a second phase because apparently investigating his history in both acts just results in him skipping it which is awesome.
On the topic of that, more RPGs should reward you for investigating the history and lore of the game. I know few games that do this, but it's always a nice break from the "kill guy or convince guy" loop that most fall into.

Nah yeah the shar gauntlet section and ketheric as a whole carried that act. Though it wasn’t enough for me to really rank it above act 3. Act 3, while really damn long, at least had a lot of interesting sections and quests which I can’t really say for act 2 since both of those good parts of act 2 are literally just the main quest

minsc also carried me in the cazador and gortash fights because both him and the bosses just wailed at eachother instead of trying to wipe out the rest of my squishy party
