If you were on this wiki over six years ago, you might know why I'm doing this.

This is the Hooded Man and Hazel starts in his base.

Hood's AP/Dura: 711.97 Tons of TNT

Hazel's AP/Dura: 249.48 Tons of TNT, higher with Dust Injections, far higher with Overdose.

Speed is equalized.

Starting Distance = 5 meters

Location = Abandoned Nabu Island (They start on the docks)

Who wins? Feels weird to not have any renders.

The Hooded Man: (0)

Hazel Rainart: (0)

Inconclusive: (0)

Now clearly Hazel OFC is more skilled

However Hoods regeneration is going to be a pain in the ass, however think Hazel can pull it off via using his elemental attacks and maybe kill hood the same way Endeavor did (Shove his hand down its throat and burn and zap it to death)

I know Hazel has that no pain thing going on but that's a pretty massive difference in stats, especially considering Hood upscale his value if I remember correctly, not to mention how weirdly unpredictable his attacks are at first due to his shapeshifting.

Honestly I think Hood just beats him up with his gargantuan stat difference and his starting advantage of unpredictability since his fighting style would be unlike anything Hazel has dealt with before, not to mention that healing factor.

On one hand, RWBY aura is kinda broken, as it allows Hazel to not only ignore a lot of damage until his aura breaks, but his semblance on top of that allows him to ignore ALL pain. Hood punches Hazel, Hazel might get pushed back, but for all intents and purposes, he's gonna ignore it

On the other hand, RWBY aura has a crippling weakness as once it hits zero, EVERYTHING stops working. Aura, semblance, all gone. And Hood's plenty strong enough to shatter Hazel's aura in a couple of hits, especially since Hood is arguably equal to Hazel in hand to hand combat

Then again, not only does Hazel have better regeneration, elemental attacks which Hood resists none of, and more reliable range due to dust projectiles
(meanwhile Hood needs to stretch his arms which runs the risk of getting his arm ripped off cuz of Hazels' Class G), he also has a very significant scaling chain on top of this. Hood might be stronger than rappa cuz he broke Rappa's shoulder with a single blow, Hazel after a single Electric Dust enhancement could 1 shot Qrow, a character he was comparable to, and nearly shatter his aura on the spot. Hazel can stack multiple other elements on top of this, each of which should grant him an equivalent stat amp

Hood starts at 3 times stronger, and can kinda 1 shot the calc he scales to (breaking Rappa's arm), but Rappa does still scale to him and could hurt him
Hazel has 5 different elements at his disposal
Hazel starts 3 times weaker, but not only does he upscale from the calc on his profile (his calc comes from Weiss and Queen Lancers and he's stronger than both) but each Dust Injection gives him a 1 shot worthy amp on top of his base form

At the very least, Overdosing should help him close the gap between him and Hood, in which case Hazel overwhelms Hood through forcefields and sheer versatility

not to mention his stamina is LEAGUES upon LEAGUES better than Hoods. Apparently, Hood's abilities (I assume quirks) start dropping after a few minutes, meanwhile Hazel can just fight forever and never drops his output due to his semblance

So overall, unless Hood goes out of his way to shatter Hazel's aura off the bat to cripple him immediately, I see Hazel winning this more often than not. He's probably gonna be forced to use Overdose, but once he does, Hood can't do much

voting Hazel

Yeah no, Hazel is getting ****** over hard if Hood hits him once considering what he did to Rappa who's way stronger than Hazel. His aura is breaking immediately or at best in a few hits and Hazel isn't enough of a better fighter to handle Hood's incredibly unorthodox fighting style that even O'clock struggled against at first.

Hazel wins with difficulty. While Hood has the edge in raw power, regeneration, and versatility thanks to multiple quirks, Hazel’s pain immunity, combat experience, and Dust-enhanced overdrive mode let him outlast, adapt, and ultimately shut down Hood’s regeneration by targeting his true weak point: the head. With FTL-level reactions, massive aura regeneration, and resistance to heat, cold, and elemental attacks, Hazel takes this

Hazel can amp himself up pretty quickly by just stabbing himself/eating dust, then he can match Hood

electric dust injections alone got him from = Qrow to 1 shotting him

stacking these injections should definitely be a several fold increase
That doesn't matter, VSB's rules prohibit giving characters multipliers unless stated.
