So what disqualifies fan fictions from being on FCOC? (ANSWERED)

This is stuff that's starting to bother me, what precedents are trying to make on rules like this:
"
  • If you want to index an original verse or character, which for whatever reason has been removed from or isn't allowed on the VS Battle Wiki (Whether that be due to their notability standards or some other miscellaneous reason), you can instead place them on the Alt Battles Wiki, which was created specifically to index such verses and characters."
  • And from what I understand, the wiki has gone on rule revisions for quality, and if that's the case, then what vague line of quality?
I've seen many examples of fan fictions that borrowed from genuine IPs that get booted into Alt Battles by DMUA.

Jeff the Killer's page is from a 2011 story that borrowed Jeff from the original creator 3 years later, Gacha Mulan cringe has been booted into Alt Battles even though it's established it's creator stories are fan fic. It's not that they're bad in of themselves to be on Alt Battles from Alt Battles' point of view, but it's time I solved this before some other random dude tries to exploit this, malicious intentions or not.

So what should determine if a fan fiction goes into Alt Battles if it's technically not Original Content as per site rules? Such content technically uses other IPs as intergral parts of their story

This isn't a set in stone answer for FC/OC but just rather my own perspective. Generally we'd want to avoid having content that'll completely shunt out other creations by virtue of Fandom considering it "trending content". That doesn't cover everything but it's something I believe we have to address in some fashion. I would strongly recomend reading this.

Besides breaucratic business you guys and DMUA deal with several hours weekly, I'm sure this is a valid not so troubling reason.

THanks for the answer.
